Emma POV: I sit and watch as Percy and Annabeth have their first dance. "one word SHIP!" I whisper to Piper
"yeah. and can I just say, you remind me of my mum when you say that" she whispers back. I look at her and she giggles. finally the first dance ends and annabeth walks over to us
"I still cannot believe that I am married!" she says
just as I'm about to reply another slow song starts and everyone goes to dance. except me. I sit and watch the couples dancing when someone places their hand on my shoulder. I turn around expecting to see nico but its Aphrodite who's behind me
"gee all those happy couples and yet your boyfriend just leaves you hanging. I'm so sorry to see that happening" she says. I smile sadly feeling like I'm going to cry when I see someone walking towards me.
"hey Emma. do you want to go dance?" nico asks me, smiling
"yeah" I say, standing up. he takes my hand and we walk onto the dance floor and start dancing. I smile. I have never been this happy before in my life. my life is now perfect.
