percabeth: forever and always

part 7

3 years later........

annabeth POV: I watch Percy and Zoe swimming and smile. Zoe is just adorable she has long blonde hair and sea green eyes. a perfect mix. I'm not swimming with them because yesterday I went for a checkup and I'm pregnant with twins. one boy and one girl. I walk outside and sit down on a garden chair to watch my daughter and husband swimming from a better spot because the kitchen was too quiet and the glare of the sun on the window was blinding. I smile as Zoe beats Percy in a swimming race. I head inside and make jam sandwiches and cut the crusts off. I grab 3 cookies from the cookie jar and pour out some milk. I put those on the table and head back outside.

"Zoe lunch is ready come inside" I call.

"okay" she says, climbing out of the swimming pool and running over to me. I wrap her favorite towel around  her (its one of those towels that kids have with the arm holes and a hood) and she goes inside to eat her lunch. suddenly there's a knock on the door. I open it and smile when I see Emma standing there. she looks happy.

"hey Emma! come in!" I say stepping to the side

"thanks" she says walking in. I shut the door and we head into the sitting room and sit down.

"so how are you?" I say

"great! thanks. how are you?" Emma says.

"I'm good" I say. "I'm having twins" I add

"OH MY GODS! CONGRATULATIONS!" Emma says excitedly.

"thanks" I say.

"annabeth guess what!"

"what?"

"nico proposed" she says moving her hand so the ring glinted in the summer sun. I gasp.

"congratulations!" I say, smiling

"thanks. I decided to tell you first and everyone at camp last because I want to postpone the drama for a while" she says, laughing "but piper might seem much more level headed about this" she adds.

"true. she is totally calm" I say, giggling. "oh geez I'd better go check on Zoe" I say.

"I'll do it. you relax" Emma says.

"thanks" I say, settling back.

Emma POV: I walk into the kitchen and I'm immediately greeted by an exited three year old.

"HI!!" she yells, running over to me.

"hey!" I say, picking her up and giving her a big, squeezy hug. I set her down and she wraps her arms around my left leg. I know what she wants. I start walking and she laughs, releases my leg and runs ahead of me into the sitting room. I laugh and walk in behind her. she's sitting on the couch next to annabeth and chattering away.

"and then daddy said that he thinks that I can't do a big girl dive so I did a big bomb splash and he said that I am a very grown up girl" I smile. little kids are adorable.

"hey Emma" I spin around and smile

"hey percy" I say and look over at annabeth, who's smiling at her daughter. who has stopped talking and is softly humming a Taylor Swift song 'all too well'. I smile. I thought her that song. ever since Leo and his half siblings made monster proof technology I've been obsessed with Taylor Swift.

Percy POV: I'm glad to see Emma I guess. annabeth and I are going for dinner tonight and we need a babysitter for Zoe.

"hey Emma annabeth and I are going out tonight and were wondering would you be okay babysitting for a bit" I say. hopefully

"yeah. sure I'd love to babysit for you guys"

"great. thank you so much"

"so I'll go back home and get some babysitting stuff I have so what time are you guys heading off?" she says. wow that girl is prepared for everything and I mean everything.

"we're leaving at 7:30" I say and she smiles.

"see you guys at 7:30"she says while walking out.
