We both sit in awkward silence for a while. He thinks your pretty, my brain screams at me. A cute boy- elf actually thinks your cute, I can't stop smiling nor blushing. Now you got to tell him that you think he is also cute. I breath out, trying to calm my nerves. "You know what," I say, Cronan turns his head a little. "Your not that bad looking yourself."

As soon as the words the words leave my mouth I regret them. "I mean... I think your cute... also." I facepalm and sigh at my stupidity. I become eager to change the topic.

"Do you know how to dance?" I ask Cronan. He turns his head to finally look at me again.

"What?"

"Dancing. Is there some sort of traditional Elvendale dance you know?"

"I want to say no," Cronan grumbles as he looks down.

"Would you teach me?" I ask him. Cronan sighs and I take it as a yes. I stand and offer my hand to him, of which he takes. We walk out to the middle of the courtyard and Cronan starts explaining what to do and how to do it. We start with the positioning (which was extremely similar to ballroom dancing positions) and then move onto the steps. Cronan counted one, two, three as I learned the new dance.

Once I got the hang of it I stopped. "Now that I know what I am doing we should put some music to it," I tell Cronan. I start to sing as we dance.

"Earth moves the air and the wind feeds the fire. Magic is here if you dare to believe. Sail out to see on a ocean of mystery. And bring your heart to the ones that you need."

Cronan stops and stares at me, confused and shocked, when I am finished. "How- how do you know that song?" He takes a step backwards.

"Emily taught it to me... before her grandmother died," I answered. Cronans expression changed from confused and shocked to confused and scared.

"My- my mother," he blinked a couple times and looked down, "my mother used to sing that song to me."

I didn't know what to think. I know already how sensitive he is about the topic of his mother. She "died" for him or at least that's how he explained it. When Emily's grandmother died she was heartbroken. I'm sure it is worse for him seeing that he was young when it happened and had nobody to be there for him ever since.

"I'm sorry," I responded after a long moment of silence, "I won't sing it anymore."

"No," Cronan looked up and smiled, "it's nice to hear it again." After a long moment of silence Cronan spoke. "I'm sick of dancing for now."

"Me to," I responded. Then I had a brilliant idea. "So... can you teach me how to understand Goblin?"

Cronan rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "How many more things am I going to have to teach you?"

I smile and grab his arm, pulling him to the edge of the courtyard where there was no ledge

When we get there I let go of his arm and sit down, dangled my feet over the ledge. Cronan gives me a confused look but then sits next to me. We sit for a moment and the Cronan begins.

"Well the easiest way to understand Goblin is to follow their hand movements. That's how I learned at first."

"When did you first learn-" I was cut off by a Goblin running towards us making quite the commotion.

"What is it now?" Cronan asked the goblin in an annoyed tone. The Goblin responded with with its usual banter and hand motions. I tried to follow along but the movements were very fast and clumsy.

"The village..." Cronan stood up and started walking to the inside of the castle. I quickly follow him.

"So what's up with this village?" I ask.
