Lucas P.O.V

"Kun, can we please watch something else?" I asked my roommate for, what had seemed, the hundredth time already. We were currently watching performances from this guy named Jungwoo, which was Kun's absolutely favorite singer. I never understood why he liked this guy so much, especially since he's not even that talented. There are so many artists just like him that sing and dance, and I am tired of listening to the same generic songs every single day. Kun would always play his music very loudly, to the point where our neighbors had come knocking on our door to complain. I was surprised that we hadn't gotten kicked out yet.

"Look at him! Why wouldn't you want to watch such a beautiful angel serenade you with his soft voice?" he exclaimed while pointing at the TV. I turned to the screen and watched the blue haired boy frolic around the stage while making finger hearts to all his fans. I scoffed and rolled my eyes at this. It was ridiculous how these 'singers' could get so much fame just by smiling and being attractive. Kun noticed my irritated expression and slapped my arm.

"Just watch one more performance with me. I'll promise that I'll make you some ramen for dinner," he said while clasping his hands together in a begging gesture. I sighed and then nodded. It's not like I could reject his offer anyways. Kun was a genius when it came to cooking, and he always created the tastiest dishes. If it weren't for him, I would've definitely starved to death by this point. I sunk down into my seat and dreadfully waited for the stupid song to finally end. Once it was done, I instantly stood up and went into my room. Now that I was finally free from Kun, I could study for tomorrow's history test. This was going to be my first exam that I was taking in college, and I was really hoping to earn a high grade on it. Although I was not the best at history, I was eager to study really hard. I began to read over my textbook, but all the words seemed to clutter together in an unorganized mess inside my mind.

"Why is this so hard to understand?" I frustratingly whined out loud. I put the textbook away and decided to find a better book at the library. I got up, put on my shoes, and left the small apartment. As I made my way outside, I noticed that it was a very nice day. The vast and endless color of blue was decorated by pure, cotton-like clouds. I stared at the sky above me in awe for a few seconds, and then got into my car. I began to drive towards the direction of the library. Everything was going fine, up until I had to stop due to the large crowd of people blocking the street. I heard a bunch of people screaming, and then a few of them began to frantically run around.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked no one. I stopped the car and waited for the crowd to disintegrate. Suddenly, I saw someone running at a fast speed towards my car. They were wearing a black hoodie, a face mask, and a hat, so I was unable to figure out who it was. Before I could lock all the doors, the figure hastily opened the door and sat down on the passenger's seat.

"Drive!" the hooded figure yelled out in an urgent tone. My heart began to race very quickly. I anxiously brung my shaky hands up to the wheel and began to turn the car around. Who was this person? Was he a fugitive on the run? I'm definitely going to die today. Oh my god, I'm in so much trouble. I can't even go home, because then this person will know my address. Where do I go? What do I do? I just wanted to go to the library, I really don't deserve this. My mind started to come up with many horrible scenarios, which made me feel extremely uneasy. I didn't even know where I was heading, but I kept driving.
