Cal's POV

My head whips around and I lock eyes with the devil himself: Michael Clifford. After shooting him a glare, I immediately turn around to face the front. Did I really just think that about his chuckle? That's fucking gross.
It's an ugly chuckle anyway.

When the bus comes to a stop I dart off and rush to my locker, hoping to finish before Clifford comes over here.
Turning around to rush off to class, I walk straight into someone causing all my books to hit the ground. Of fucking course it's him.

He chuckles; what the fuck is with him chuckling all the time!?

"Watch where you're going, Hood."

I  scoop my books off the ground and begin to walk away, yet I can't help but to look back over my shoulder and yell out,

"Piss off, Clifford!"

"Suck my dick, Hood!"

Maths class is so dumb, do teachers understand that they're meant to teach you the content and not just write it on the board? Ugh, whatever.
My phone go off in my pocket and I pull it out under the desk, seeing that my best friend Luke texted.

Luke: this class is so shit, does miss
smith even know how to teach??

Cal: clearly not. She is so shit, I can't
believe she isn't letting us sit together!

Luke: the only good thing bout this
class is i get to stare at the hot
guy sitting in front of me :-D

I scoff loudly before replying,

Cal: that's Clifford's best friend.
Gross.

Luke: u and clifford should fr bang
it out and put ur feud to an end👀

I pull a disgusted face, and look up when it feels like someone is watching me, and there is. Miss Smith is standing over me with a detention slip and a box to put my phone in. Well fuck.

I hand her my phone and my eyes widen, I didn't fucking turn it off before I gave it to her!

I watch as her eyes skim over the screen that is still lit up with Luke and I's conversations. She looks at me with eyebrows raises before stating,
"Calum, Luke, switch seats. This switch will be permanent."

I stand up with my stuff and begin make my way over to my new seat, but the bell rings before I can.
I rush outside of the classroom to wait for Luke.
Someone taps my shoulder and I turn around with a smile expecting it to be Luke, but it's not.

"What do you want Clifford?" I question, peering over his shoulder only to see Luke talking to the teacher.

He leans close to my ear,
"Y'know Hood, I knew you were a dickhead but I never took you for a faggot."
