Chapter 18

A/N I skip forward in this chapter.

<Peeta's POV>

Graduation time.

Today is the day we graduate. Not much has happened since Kat and I got home from out honeymoon. When we got back the first thing we did was check if my mother left and she did. After that we went to Kat's house just to find a surprise welcome home party. Between then and now nothing has happened except for Johanna's belly growing everyday.

<Glimmers POV>

All of the girls just got to Clove and I's dorm to get ready. Well everyone except for Jo who is probably sleeping.

We all decided our graduation dresses would be red so we could bring a piece of Thresh to our graduate ceremony. Everyone curled their hair because this is a special occasion. "Hey guys I'm going to go look for Jo,"I tell everyone. They all respond with an okay but they are all distracted with doing their own makeup.

I look like a crazy person running around the school all dressed up. I have checked everywhere I don't know where the hell she is. Wait I haven't checked the bathroom upstairs yet. I run up the stairs down the hall and into the bathroom. I hear someone crying. "Jo?"

"In here," she says. I open the stall door and see her sitting on the ground.

"What's wrong Jo?" I ask sitting down next to her.

"I just wish he could be here with us. You know." She says all of this through tears. I start to cry lightly.

"You know that we all wish that Thresh could be here. This was supposed to be his day to but guess what life sucks. But we need to move on for Thresh. He wouldn't want is to hold back on our life for him," I say all of this so fast I do t know how she understands me, but she must because she hugs me. I help her up and we walk back to my room to get her ready.

<Marvels POV>

We are at the graduation. They are calling us up one by one to get our diplomas. I am the last of the misfits to get it. I hear my name called. I walk to the podium grab my diploma and shake hands with the professors. Then I go and sit back down with all the other students dressed in caps and gowns.

"Everyone the class of 2016!" The principal says over the microphone. We flip our tassels to the opposite side. "You may now throw your hats."

Every graduate throws their cap up and we all yell. I hear people talking.

"Ready for the party tonight at Delly's house."

"Hell ya!"

I turn to the misfits. "Hey guys party at that girl Delly's house tonight. Wanna go?"

Then I remember Jo can give birth at any moment now. "Or we don't have to," I add lamely.

"Let's just go to Jo's house," Cato suggests. We all nod in agreement. We run out of the building screaming, smiling, and laughing. We jump in our card and start driving. When we get to Jo's house we run right into the kitchen and grab all the drinks and snacks that we can carry. We then sprint down the stairs. Except for Jo who seems to be walking especially slow. All of us spread out on the couch.

"So guys we have no more school ever again!" Glimmer yells. We all whoop and yell. We make small talk for awhile.

"Say hello," Jo says so quietly I can barely hear her.

"Say hello to who?" Annie asks curious. Foxface and I exchange looks.

"Say hello to your nephew," Jo says. I don't understand what she means at first. Everyone else seems to be wondering the same thing. We all figure it out at once. Sam Thresh is coming.
