<Finnick's POV>
Someone knocks at my door. I drag myself over to the doorway to see who it is. When I open the door the person standing there makes me want to smile but also fills me with sadness. A beautiful redhead with green eyes looks up at me.
"Hi Annie."
"Hi Finnick we um need to talk." I nod and bring her inside so we can sit on the couch. "Um Jo told me why you did what you did that day. I'm sorry. I didn't know your dad died that day. Fin I love you I really do," I am about to smile she is taking me back. She continues. "But I think we need to take a break." My heart breaks. Unacceptable.
"No Annie. I can't allow that. You see you are a perfect girl and I think that it is very stupid that you want to end what we have. Instead we should expand our love in fact I'm going to expand it right now." I get down in one knee. "Annie Cresta will you be first my fiancé, then wife, and lastly mother of my future children." Please say yes I think to myself.
"Finnick Odair I thought you'd never ask!" She jumps into my arms. I hold her against my chest and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I have her. I have the girl of my dreams. Tears escape my eyes. Finally.
