It was awhile after all of the previous stuff had happened. I was hanging out in my room and scrolling through the internet on my phone. I happened to find something funny and decided to show Stefan. I got up and walked around the house trying to find him. After a few failed attempts, I had ended up in one of the living rooms and was surprised by what I saw. Damon was standing there with who I believed was Katherine. It was a dead giveaway that she was Katherine and not Elena. The way she was standing was different and her hair was curled. Elena didn't curl her hair at all.
I turned to Damon, "What is she doing here?"
Katherine fake pouted, "Aww, aren't you happy to see me, Charlotte? I thought you would, if I'm being honest. I did make you into the better version of yourself." Wait, what? What does she mean by that? I've never met her, so how could she have "made me better"? She then turned to Damon, "She really does look like Corinthia, doesn't she? The same green eyes that looked at me when I killed her." Now that was taking it way too far. She was obviously doing this to get a rise out of him and she was succeeding.
Damon pushed her against the wall and started to choke her while glaring harshly, "Don't even speak to her."
Katherine smirked, "Why? Does it bother you, Damon?" Katherine turned to look back at me, "So how's life as a vampire treating you? You know, with your brother dying and all."
I froze, confused. "How did you know about my brother? And why are you asking me that?" I questioned defensively, confused.
"Haven't you figured it out already? I'm the one who turned you, Charlotte," Katherine said with a cold smirk, eyes boring into mine.
I immediately went to attack her in a fit of rage, but Damon moved away from Katherine and held me back, "You're the one who killed my family! I wouldn't be surprised if you were the one to kill my brother, too!" Katherine started to say something, but I cut her off, "Shut up!"
Katherine acted completely innocent, "Why did I hit a nerve?"
Damon walked over to Katherine and said, "Katherine, get the hell out of my house before I stake you." Next thing I knew, I was being held against a wall with a stake aimed at my heart. I couldn't move at all, much less breath, without the stake poking me painfully. Katherine stood in front of me with a smirk as she continued to keep the stake pointed at my heart. There was no way for me to escape. "Let her go!"
"Or what, Damon?" Katherine glanced back at Damon. "What are you going to do to me? Do you actually think that you can hurt me?"
"I can sure as hell try." Damon told her.
Katherine looked back at me, "What if I were to..," She trailed off as the stake poked my chest even harder. I winced from the pain. "Kill her just like I did, Corinthia? How would you feel then?"
"Then I wouldn't try to hurt you, Katherine. I would kill you," Damon's voice was raising as he talked. He went over to one of the chairs and broke it. It broke into different pieces and he picked up a chair leg. "Let her go before I kill you right now." Damon was now holding the stake at her back. Katherine seemed to hesitate a little before finally letting me go. Damon grabbed my arm and held me behind him.
Katherine pouted, "Well, you're no fun. I'm gonna get you all. Don't underestimate me, Damon. I'm going to make each and every one of you pay. I have my ways." Then she sped off and out of the house.
