She has had some ups and downs, but she's still alive. Charlotte has made friends with Elena, considering Elena her best friend. Stefan Salvatore is a brotherly figure towards her, and has been for over a century. Damon Salvatore is someone she's trying to figure out at the moment, and finding his place in her life. She's met a mysterious man who said he'd see her later, and she's starting to feel like chaos is about to ensue at any moment.

In this book Charlotte will meet Katherine Pierce, the woman who looks exactly like Elena Gilbert. The person who we find out played a big part in Charlotte's life... We also meet the Mikaelsons, and we'll see how they tie into her life as well. This is just the beginning of the end. And the start of the still lurking storm...
