Chapter Sixteen

Third Person Point of View

As Emma fell Lexi  quickly caught her. The spell that Bonnie had done put Emma into a deep sleep, but no one knew exactly what she had done. Not even the witch knew what she had done.
 

Once Lexi knew somewhat that  Emma was going not to die at the moment she got up and started yelling with the youngest Salvatore. As the two were yelling Elena walked away to call her sister and tell her what happened. 

On the first ring Katherine answered the call. "Elena, what's going on?" Katherine asked worried as her sister would have never called her while she was running. 

"It's Emma, Bonnie the stupid Bennet witch decided to cast a spell, I don't know what she did to her. I think you need to come back."Elena says with true worry in her words. 

"I'm on the first flight out. Lexi is still there?" Katherine responded as she frantically moved in her tiny apartment in Scotland. 

"Yes, she is still here. She's been fighting against Stefan trying to make him see what he is doing."

"Okay, that's good. Don't blow your cover. We need someone in the inside to tell us what they are planning. Fill Lexi in and have her fill you in, Stefan will make up lies."

"Alright, see you soon sister." And the two Petrova sisters hang up. Elena went back to the group near Emma's body while fighting and yelling continued on between Stefan and Lexi. 

"What have you done?" Lexi questions the entire group. Yet no one answers because no one knows the answer, only Bonnie and she hardly knows. "You will pay for this. Katherine will come back and hell will rain down on this town." Lexi continues to yell. 

The group stays silent until Stefan speaks up, "This is what needed to be done."

"She will never forgive you, any chance you had is gone. Emma trusted you not to hurt her. She knew you hated her, but she did not believe that her own father would physically hurt her." Lexi responds to Stefan's comment. 

"Lexi, it had to be done." Stefan says and walks away with everyone else. Except Elena and Damon. 

"I don't know what's going on with him, but I am sorry and I do hope that Emma get's better." Elena says sincerely, she would have said more but Damon was still there.

 And she walks away while Damon stays with a look on his face as he looks at Emma somberly, sad that this happened to her, angry that it was Stefan that had done it. "She didn't deserve this." Is all he says before also walking back to the boarding house on the edge of town. 

When he walks in he orders for everyone to leave, "What the hell are you doing Stefan? Letting Bonnie Bennet hurt Emma. That's low even for you." He says to his brother once all the people leave. 

"What do you want me to say Damon? She was hurting people, she was brain-washing the town." He says trying to defend why he did what he did. But deep down Stefan knew what he did was wrong.

"No, you are not doing that. You provoked her ripper gene, you get to feel guilty for what she did because if you had not yelled at her she would not have gone a spree like she did. And as for brain-washing the town, really Stefan do you hate her that much. Katherine will come back, and she will be mad. Was it worth it to draw Katherine back here. Hell will happen in this town for what you have done." Damon says angrily. Damon never had anything against his niece, it was hard for him to watch her get hurt because of who she was.  

 "No, she's a ripper that's her problem." Stefan starts but is cut off by this brother, the start of his speech had made Damon angry already. 

"No, no, you can't say that it's not your fault. You started this mess, you yelled at her for wanting to see you. For caring about you when you never cared for her." Damon says, the last part hitting Stefan hard in the heart.  

Stefan had never wanted a child, but he swore to himself that of he ever did he would not be his father, yet that was exactly who he was. 

Back at the Petrova safe-house Emma rested in her bed once Lexi had moved her there. Lexi had settled Emma and called Katherine to hear that she already knew what was happening via Elena. Once she had caught Katherine up on what Elena had not told her Lexi called a witch to come see Emma. But she knew they could not go to the safe-house so Lexi decided that they would go to the Salvatore House seeing as they were the ones that had gotten them here. Although Lexi knew bringing Emma to the Salvatore House was risky with Stefan around, she needed a place to go, and Emma needed to get better. 

As Lexi was packing some things to take over, Elena knocked on the door and walked in. "Elena, what's going on?" Lexi questioned her as Elena walked in. 

"I'm here to see Emma, how is she doing?" Elena responded.

"She's knocked out. I called a witch to come and figure out what Bonnie did to her. I'm taking her to the Salvatore House."

"No, no you can't take her to the Salvatore House. They are the ones that did this." Elena says worried about the safety of her niece. 

"Elena come up with a better plan, I'm all ears." Elena knew that Lexi was right and that as long as someone was looking after Emma it would not be the worst plan. 

"Fine, but I'm coming too." Elena agrees.

"You can't do that, it will look suspicious."

"Well there's no way that Stefan is being left alone with her. This is what Kat and I were trying to protect her from." 

"What's you solution?"

"I'll go to pick a fight with Stefan, he deserves it."

"Fine, but you have to arrive a bit after me." An agreement is made between the two and they head off the Salvatore House.

This is my first 3rd pov, I don't know if I like it, I know it doesn't suck but I'm not sure it's good either.
