"you hold a smoking gun so take your aim and shoot..."
Okay, so Kaycee was mad. It wasn't something to happen often and getting her mad at you wasn't an easy thing to do because she was always in such a good mood. So the fact that she was actually genuinely mad was something to worry about because even though she looked like an angel — and she really was when not mad — she could also turn into the devil.
And you must be wondering what could have happened in between the last chapter and this one that could have turned our baby angel into a monster of rage, I mean when we left she was in the happiest mood. Well, a week happened — a whole week of nothing, and man, Kaycee wasn't happy about it.
She didn't want much really, she wasn't expecting for him to show up at her door with roses and chocolate to ask her on a date or anything remotely like that, but she wasn't expecting for him to pretend that nothing had happened either.
I mean, she knew that nothing huge really happened, they didn't actually kiss but still, it was too big of an almost thing for them to pretend that it didn't happen.
And it wasn't like if they haven't seen each other much in that week, they saw each other every single day and they spent time alone working together also, so the fact that he didn't say or did anything was not because of lack of opportunities. She was angry at him but she was also too proud to let him know it so she was raging inside.
"So, he still hasn't said anything?" Asked Bailey while reaching Kaycee a coffee, they were getting coffee in the coffee shop close to the studio they would have a class in twenty minutes, which was actually Sean's class.
"No, he hasn't." She said angrily while they started to head back to the studio. "I don't know what went wrong, I mean he was the one that was coming for the kiss, you know. I don't get why he's backing off now."
"That's actually really weird, when you told me he almost kissed you I thought he would go out of his way to ask you out because it's Sean and he's always extra when it comes to you." Said Bailey. "Do you want me to ask Ken to see if Sean said anything to him?"
Kaycee laughed. "Bails, stop inventing excuses to talk with Ken... If you want to, just go and talk to him."
"You could follow your own advice you know? To just go and ask Sean what the hell it's going on." Said the girl while they were entering the studio.
"That's different, Ken it's a sweetheart, and Sean it's acting like an idiot." She said with no patience. "And you know what? I don't really care anymore! if he doesn't want anything besides a friendship then it's fine, I didn't want anything more than that with him either anyway."
Bailey chuckled. "Yeah, right."
They sat on the floor and started to stretch, she sighed. "It is that obvious?"
"That you wanna be with him? Yeah, it is." Her friend answered.
"Yeah, it doesn't seem that obvious to him." She said sarcastically.
"Boys are dumb, even the ones that are smart like Sean... don't worry, he'll get his shit together." Bailey answered. "maybe he's just scared that you would say no or something, because as far as he knows you didn't try to touch the subject of the almost-kiss either."
