ROMAN'S POV
A cool breeze from the open window lifted the sheer white curtains, causing them to rise and fall.
The sun was just making its appearance, shinning lightly through the window. She makes the most adorable pouty face as she sleeps, breathing lightly between her lips. Her eyelashes flutter and a small snore escapes her.
I want so badly to kiss her again, but I don't want to wake her. She needs her rest after the incredible night we had.I can't help but blush, and smile thinking about her last night. Us.
It's definitely a side of Kali that I can get used to.
Fearlessly confident, loosing her self to me, no holding back, no over thinking.I peel her from my arm, and slide it out from underneath her, gently now, trying not to wake her.
She definitely deserves the world, but today, it's breakfast in bed.
I slip on my clothes, and run my hands through my hair, and head for the bedroom door."Please. Don't." I hear her beg softly.
She thought I was leaving? After last night?
I'd never leave her unless she asked me to.
I turn to see Kali with her head resting on her pillow still, eyes closed. She's dreaming.
"Mama. It hurts." Her brows furrowed, her voice whines softly.
Everything in me hurts for her.
I tip toe back to the bed and sit next to her, just watching. She tosses underneath the white sheet.
"Dad..help..please" she cries silently.I can't take this shit. I stroke her the hair from her face.
"Kali. Wake up." I say softly to her, not wanting to hear anymore.
And her eyes flutter, then open.
She looks around, like she has no idea who I am or where we are."Roman? You're still here?" She smiles, and whispers.
She thought I'd leave.I nod and chuckle.
"I wouldn't leave. Are you kidding me? You're going to have to drag me out because this is my house now." I joke and she laughs. The sound is music to my ears.
Her body is still wrapped in the sheets, and all of her is visible. She bites her lip and watches me watch her. I can feel myself grow hard again.
Damn you, Roman. Haven't you had enough, you greedy son of a bitch? Let her be.
I kiss her on the forehead and stand, heading for the door, hoping she doesn't notice how much I want to devour her.
She frowns like a child."Meet me in the kitchen. I'm on breakfast duty." I say to her before heading out of the room.
I pull the curtains open in the living room, and kitchen, allowing the morning sun to light the house.
I pull the fridge open, and it's full of food.
Unlike my refrigerator. I can't cook for shit, and I don't really grocery shop. I mean eggs and toast is as far as I go when it comes to breakfast.
I think I have ten takeout boxes, and a carton of milk.Kali appears into the kitchen, in her black robe, as I pull two white bowls from the cabinet, and a box of lucky charms from the pantry.
She gracefully pulls herself up onto the counter to sit, and stares while I fix our cereal, just smiling, her legs dangling.
"Trish doesn't seem like the type to feed the boys Lucky Charms." I tease, standing next to her, as she takes a big bite and rolls her eyes back.
"It's mine." She smiles. Of course it is.
