I'm back in Korea after my long trip in Japan...I visit one of my childhood places and giggle at the very few memories I had

HongJoong runs up to me " oww it hurts *sob*" I began crying..I fell on my knees trying to catch a butterfly " it's okay I'm here" he replies and helps me up " *sob* it hurts..why does it hurt" I ask " because you were trying to chase an innocent butterfly and catch it..you've been punished" he replies " *cries* I'm sorry *sobs harder* I didn't mean it" I hold my hands to my face as my tears poor down " it's okay...now that you know..you won't do it again..I'm here to protect you..always" he wipes my tears and hugs me....

I felt so safe in his embrace..it was like a big blanket covered around me for comfort but was also a shield to protect me...I had a little crush on him back then..but it all changed when I moved to Japan..
I didn't get to say goodbye...I left without warning..so I never got the chance to tell him...it doesn't matter now..he was just an old friend..those things come and go..
"Is..is that you (y/n)!! My how you've grown" an elderly lady comes up smiling at me " A-Aunt Tong!?" She was my neighbor..me and HongJoong would always come over to her house and she would bake us her delicious cookies " you've became such a pretty women..as I expected" she says
I run up and hug her " I missed you..and your cookies" I reply and she smiles with a little chuckle " I have some in the oven..won't you join me for a small cup of tea" she asks

It was time for me to go..I say my farewells and begin walking off...I look over at a tree...that tree..no..no it can't be
I run over to find me and HongJoongs name written all over it and our little desires we wished for as a kid " our wishing tree" my eyes filled with tear as I read the wishes Engraved on it
" I want to be a minion"
"I want to be a princess"
"Promise to Stay as friends forever and ever"
"(Y/n) and HongJoongs wishing tree.."
Tears run down my cheek..I walk around the tree to find more words written " I've never seen these before" I ask myself...I begin reading them..
"(Y/n) where are you..you didn't show up for cookie time"
"Did you break the promise"
"I know you'll come back..I'm waiting"
"I've been looking after the wishing tree for you"
"I'm in high school now..and I'm still waiting for you"
"I've been wanting to say this to you for a long time...I loved you..and still do"
He..he loves me
"I haven't been going school lately...and..I missed you"
"I'm gonna become an idol..I've been working on a few songs...some I made for you"
His been waiting for a long time..i wipe my tears but as I keep reading..they keep running down..he wrote songs...for me...
"Who are you!!" I hear a voice
I turn to face it " oh! I was just looking at this tree a-and-" I was stopped
"Leave!!!" His demanding voice sends shivers down my spine making me step back " sorry" I reply and head off...
That..that was scary..

I returned to Aunt Tongs house " Aunt Tong! I'm back!" I call out
The door opens and I greet her..once I get inside " YOU!" The boy I met yesterday stood up walking over to me " what are you doing here!" I ask
"I should be asking you that question!!"
"Ahh (y/n), HongJoong why don't you take a seat..and have a cookie" Aunt Tong said
Did..did she just say..(Y/N)!!
H-HongJoong!!!
I turn to face him " HongJoong..is..is that really you!?" I ask
(Y/n)!?..I take a good look at her..she's changed...a lot..she's gone older and...prettier..she looks at me in an awkward manner as I run up and hug her
"I missed you!!"
HongJoong came up hugging me...and the same feeling I felt years ago came rushing back..I felt safe in his embrace as I hug him back...I feel protected..I didn't realise how long I've missed this feeling...
"I missed you too" I reply
"I thought you were going to break our promise" he asks
"Well-" I was stopped
"I don't care anymore...at least your here now...(y/n)...I love you..."
"I love you more" I reply...my eyes go blurry..I'm crying " it hurts...it hurt me not saying goodbye..I had to live with that pain..and I'm sorry..I'm sorry for breaking the promise" I say
"You never broke the promise...you came back to me....and don't worry..now that you know..you won't do it again..and I'm always here..to protect you from your pain" he replies making my grip tighter " thank you" I say
"No...thank you...for coming back to me" he replies
"The cookies are getting cold dears..why not have a bite while there still hot" Aunt Tong interrupts us as we both pull back into our original places...HongJoong has Gone way more handsome..who new he was the little childish old friend of mine..he grew up to me so perfect and..kinda strict..but still cute..
Oh! And I should ask him about that idol thing...I'll ask him later......
