**Third person**

"Alright sweetie I got your clothes right here we just need to cover up the burns on your back it will wrap around your chest as well so..." Nurse Lisa paused gesturing to the hospital gown Brittney was wearing. Brittney's face flushes red when she realizes what she meant, "ok" Brittney said softly turning around her eyes never leaving the ground in a nervous way she cracked her knuckles. Lisa undid the little bows that were keeping the gown on Brittney's body, it fell to the ground its soft plunk echoing through the quiet room, and Lisa opened the package of the wrap that was in a sterile package.

"I'm going to put on some antibacterial cream; it will sting for a second." Lisa said, and not two seconds later she gingerly ran the cream across Brittney's shoulder blades and true to her word it did sting, as Brittney sucked in a shaky breath through her clenched teeth Lisa lightly moved down Brittney's back. Once she finished putting the cream on, she changed gloves and put a clean pair on. She carefully took the pale tan wrap and started wrapping all the way around Brittney's torso and chest, once the burns were covered Lisa took medal clasps and pinned the end of the wrap down so it wouldn't fall off or come loose.

"How does that feel" Lisa asked

"Fine" Brittney answered finally taking her eyes off the ground to look into Lisa's "thank you" Brittney gave her a weak smile gratefully.

"That's what I'm here for, sweetie. Now I told Sarah how to change your bandages and Marc has your medicine. Just be careful in the shower and you should be good." Lisa smiled and cleaned up the room, as Brittney sat down on the bed, after getting dressed, waiting for Sarah to come back up. A few minutes later James came barreling in with a toy airplane. With the sound effects of zoooom! His blond hair that was similar to Brittney's sticking out in every direction. He stopped right in front of Brittney and looked up at her. He has freckles sprinkled across his face, and unlike Brittney chocolate brown eyes. He smiled, and hugged her legs. Brittney smiled back and patted his head, "Hey there buddy" she said.

"hi" he said in a baby voice. Sarah walked in and smiled at what she saw. Today she's wearing a baby blue sundress that stopped just below her knees, her brown hair in a bun.

"Alright so Marc is down at the car and we are going to stop for lunch at the olive garden." She said looking down at her BlackBerry phone. James released his grip on Brittney, and ran into Sarah legs. She picked him up by his armpits and placed him on her hip. Brittney got off the bed; all she had to wear was the hospital brand sweatpants, and an extremely baggy t-shirt. They didn't have and extra small in the sweatpants so she was constantly pulling them up.

"Let's go!" Sarah said enthusiastically, walking out Brittney followed and they made their way down to the parking garage. Once they got there, Marc's big SUV was there and you could see him looking out the window in search of them. He noticed and hopped out of the car, he had a bag in his hand.

"Ok, so Brittney just take one of these..." he paused to pull out an orange bottle with labeling on it with a water bottle. "You have to take one four times a day, and every morning and night take this inhaler." He pulled that out of the bag a well, it was a pale red color with a pale orange cap.

"Ok" Brittney said taking in all the information. She took the orange bottle and the water, got a pill out and took it, washing it down with the water.

"Alright let's go to lunch" Marc said and they got in the car making their way to the restaurant.

**Connors POV**

'You remember the plan' I asked Paul for the millionth time through mind link.

'Yes kid, I do' he thought back. Just by staying here for a day and a night, we found their routine, and by playing 'weak' they didn't give me any of the tranquilizer drugs. They would send a guard guy in every hour and a half to poke at us and see if I had changed my mind. So it was just about time to send in the next guard and that will be our chance to get out. I heard the groan of the door and footsteps down the stairs the out of the darkness a buff guy came and opened the cell door.

'Now!' I thought and Paul pounced on him, shifting into his grey wolf. I did the same and aimed my opened mouth at his throat. As soon as I made contact I bit down and pulled. The sound of flesh tearing ripped through the quiet dungeon. The guy fell to the ground lifeless; we shifted back and looked at each other.

"You got a little something" Paul said rubbing his chin jokingly, blood was everywhere. I laughed and ran for the stairs he fallowed. We got through the door and entered what looked like a HUGE kitchen enough space to fit an army, and there was a back door. Paul gave me a look that said 'go for it' and we broke down the door and were greeted by the edge of a forest. One last look at each other and we ran, at the same time shifting. We ran and ran and entered a clearing. That's where we decided to take a break; I fell to the ground and lay on my back putting my paws to the sky. The sun was setting and I could see the sliver of the moon. But the moment had to be ruined when we heard men coming, Oh come on. We ran for a good 2 hours before we recognized were we were, our home state Tennessee. We got to the farm where my step parents and I live; Paul went to his house since he had a mate and pups to check on.

"See ya later" I said.

"Bye kid, good night" he said walking down the dirt road. I looked up the driveway and noticed the SUV was gone; hmm no one must be home. They were like my step parents because they took care of me after my parents died, although they never really adopted me. I wonder where they went.

Alright i know its a tad bit short but i will try harder. recently i've been sick, as in my skin and ive been from hospital to the dermatologist, back to the hospital thery're not sure what it is but i will be kinda on a tight schedule as well as school starting. i promise to you that i will do my best to upload as fast as i can! thanks you to all that Vote and Read it means a lot to me! i also posted another story if you wanna check that out it would be awsome.
