Tanuki are creatures similar to raccoons which were first added to Xanjein May of 2017. There are currently twelve patterns for Tanuki, of which none are hybrids. Breeding a pair of Tanuki requires one green stone. A Tanuki litter has 1-2 babies.
In-Game Description
This Tanuki, like all tanuki species on the Xanje worlds, is believed to be a descendent of those found on Earth. It is also known as a raccoon dog, and although it can superficially resemble a raccoon, it is in fact a true member of the canine family. It lives in pairs or small packs, and in colder regions it hibernates during winter.
Common Peterran Tanukis are also sometimes called flame tanukis, after the flame pattern on their heads. This tanuki is found throughout northern Peterra, and comes in many different colour phases.
