Chapter 4

Briar's POV

I just saw my mother. So I was right, she wasn't dead. I was also in shock. My mother is the moon goddess. Which means I am the moon princess!! OMG!!!!! I'm like going to have a stroke. But just as I thought this, my beautiful mate came up to me and lifted me up into his arms. I was also shocked at the dress I was wearing. It was a silver dress, but it wasn't actually silver as it hurts us wolves. But anyway as he picked me up, I got a little dizzy and I said, "Why is the world spinning so much? I feel like I'm going to pass out." Just as I said that I did.

A few days later

Xander's POV

A few days and she still hasn't woke up yet. It's starting to make me and my wolf become agitated. The moon goddess said that she is going through some changes. She told me that  Briar was turning into a young adult. She must know the strain it has on me to control my wolf whenever we are around Briar. He wants nothing more than to claim her as his and complete the mating process. But everyday it gets harder. Soon I won't be able to hold him back at all.

I must have fallen asleep because when I woke up I seen Briar sitting up and she looked so adorable. I just wanted to hold her and never let go. The days that she was unconscious I never left her side, except to go to the restroom. I didn't eat or shower, and I think she noticed because when she looked at me she scrunched up her nose and said, "You need a shower." I laughed and said, "Only if you join me." She just shook her head and got up But since she was in bed for so long, her legs wouldn't work quite right. She tripped and before she hit her head, I caught her. But when I started to get up I lost my balance and we both fell and she was straddling me. Lets just say I need to take a cold shower now.
