Chapter 14

Xander's POV

"She's a healer? Aren't those supposed be like 1 in like a quadrillion?" I am dumbfounded at the results they found in my mate. The doctors did have to hold me back because they have to take blood and by the looks of it, Briar didn't like blood much. At least she is alive. I cried because I thought she died. Those vampires are going to pay one way or another for what they did to her. When and if I get ahold of them, I'm going to kill them slowly. I will starve them. This makes it sound like I'm cruel, but a person never messes with an Alpha's mate and Luna. It's like they had a suicide wish when they took her. If my guards were still here, I would have them in trouble. But sadly, those guards died. At least they went down fighting. 

"Yes, Xander, she is a Healer. It's because her father is one, but he's doesn't want to acknowledge the power, so it's just dormant. And her father is my mate." Selena confirmed my thoughts and I am shocked that my Beta is mates with the Moon Goddess. "So did you reject him?" I ask her this and she says, 

"No, I loved him. I still do, I just can't be with him. I have to stay in the Heavens. I would love to see him again, but our wolves would just want to stay with each other and the strain to control her would be to much for the both of us. Please don't tell me you mindlinked him." I smile and nod. He comes into the room a second later and he stops in the door way. His eyes start to water and he says, "Selena, is it really you? For 18 years you have been gone and I never knew where you went! You just, left."

"I really wanted to stay, but you know, wait you didn't know, did you? I am the Moon Goddess. I stayed long enough so I could get to know you. But then my father, The king of wolves, well he was but he's gone, he called me back to him. And I had to. I had to leave the only love I found and go back to the Heavens. Wanna know who the new king and queen of wolves are? Xander and Briar Rose. They are the new Moon God and Goddess. I retired from the position when her and Xander mated. I can stay and so can they, but we both have to leave sometimes to go the Heavens to make sure everything is ok and then we come back. But I'm sorry I left you. Is it to late to start over and try this mate thing again?"

Ok, I was like about to cry when I made this chapter. They reunite, and they find themselves again. It's so emotional, If you cry, I won't laugh. I will totally understand. Have fun reading guys, I will try to update again soon, so stay posted.
