" Hold on Flint!" the small girl whined, tugging her yellow rain-boots on, squeaking as she ran out the front door after her older brother, Flint Drew, the Ultimate Detective.
Flint sighed, crossing his arms as he waited for his younger sister. He smiled though, proud of the small redhead.
" Can't catch me!" Micah giggled as she began running through the heavy rain, grinning happily as she glanced back. She noticed her black haired brother sprinting after her.
She let out a nervous squeak as she began going faster to get away from her brother.
He was the Ultimate Detective, and had realized the talent when one of his friends favorite toys went missing, and had figured out where it was in less then five minutes.
Her parents praised Flint for his talent, but her on the hand...she was like a punching bag for them. Someone to take their anger out on, that was always her. Why? She was no Ultimate, she was just ordinary.
Micah sighed, beginning to pant for breath as her brother passed by her and laughed triumphantly before he tensed and grabbed the smaller girls arm.
" You're shivering," the black haired boy mumbled, taking his sweatshirt off and putting it on his younger sister. She blinked, before smiling brightly when she realized how warm it was. She giggled before she noticed her brother was slowly backing up.
" Flint, what are you-"
" Shh!" he hissed, backing away slowly when he noticed a figure with something odd looking in their hand.
" Start moving away slowly...they're dangerous..." Flint mumbled before he flinched when he slipped on a puddle, falling backwards and startling whoever had the object. Because when they tuned there was a loud bang and her brother was laying on the ground and the water was slowly becoming red.
The stranger ran away, leaving Micah confused as she sat on the went ground and began shaking her brother, but he was unmoving, and was becoming cold.
" Flint, do you want your sweatshirt back? I'm okay with getting sick, that means I'll hopefully get to skip school!" Micah smiled as she continued shaking her brother," Come on sleepy...get up..." she cooed.
Still no movement from her older brother. Micah huffed, laying down next to him and curling up.
" If you wanna sleep in the rain then I'm staying with you!" she huffed, shivering slightly as she moved closer to her brother, the detective.
How stupidly naive she used to be.

Micah sat alone on the wooden bench, her brother's sweatshirt still hanging loosely around her. She sighed gently, waiting for the bus to take her to Hope's Peak Academy. She glanced around, flinching when she heard a strike of thunder in the distance.
Ain't this the perfect day for the first day at Hope's Peak? I'm gonna look like a dead flower...
The redhead sighed, shivering slightly as she glanced around before noticing the time. The bus was late, so she stood up and began walking.
Micah was going to Hope's Peak for a completely different then most students were. She was a Reserve Coarse Student, she was no Ultimate.
She was nothing special, and never would be.
The redhead sighed, walking along silently in the rain before she began hearing yelling from nearby. She quickly looked up and saw two males, one looked like a wannabe rocker with awkward red hair, while the other had a black jacket over his shoulders, boxing shorts, and bandages all over, and a pair of shades.
