Teruya x Rei ; Just One More Day

  " I'm sorry."

  Teruya turned, confused as he looked at the taller ginger with slightly widened eyes," Huh-"

  " I said I was sorry, alright?" Rei glanced away, rubbing her arm gently after a moment and sighing," I've been absolutely horrible to you for no damning reason!"

  The merchant blinked before he smile and held out his hand," I accept your apology!" he grinned.

  The professor seemed surprised, before eventually smiling herself and shaking the younger boys hand and stepping back.

  " Well, anyways, it's almost lights out, you better get back to your room unless you want to get...y'know," Teruya sighed, shrugging soon as he turned and waved," See ya later Rei!"

  Rei waved back, sighing soon," Goodnight," she said quietly, going to her room and smiling slightly as she locked the door and sat down on her bed.

  " That felt good..." she mumbled, taking a deep breath," That felt really good..."

  " Hey Rei!"

  The former professor turned and looked over her shoulder, smiling slightly when she saw Teruya running over and waving his arms around.

  " What is it?" she asked, raising an eyebrow as the former merchant grinned, shoving his hands in his pockets.

  " Welll, I wondering if you wanna go out to lunch? You always eat the cafeteria food, and you must get sick of that after a while," the green haired man said, shrugging.

  " I mean..." Rei trailed off, glancing away and cleaning off her glasses," I guess-"

  " Yes!" Teruya grabbed the former professors hand, grinning happily," There's a new place that opened up right down the street, and I've been dying to go there!"

  The ginger smiled slightly, sighing as she looked at their hands," Well...lets go then, I just need to grab my wallet-"

  " No, no, no, it's all on me!" the other smiled beginning to walk out of Rei's office," I insist."

  Rei sighed once more, smiling brighter as she gave a small nod," Alright...fine..." she mumbled gently and followed the former merchant.

  The lunch at the diner was just one of many lunches that Rei and Teruya went to together. Their little lunches turned to almost a whole afternoon together, or just things that were sweet and simple.

  Rei was finding herself loving their little hangouts more and more.

  Currently, Rei was pacing around her office while tugging at her hair. She was stressed with all the work building up on her shoulders.

"...Rei...?"

  The ginger stayed silent, taking deep breaths as began tugging at her hair again.

  " Rei!"

  The former professor turned, seeing Teruya standing in the doorway of her office.

  " Hey...hey..." the former merchant walked over and gently grabbed Rei's hands and held them gently.

  " I-I'm so tired..." Rei mumbled, leaning forward and gripping the mans hands tightly.

  " I know..." Teruya mumbled, gently massaging the young woman's hands and pulling her closer," Just breathe..."

  I can't...it hurts so much...

  " Shh..hey...don't cry..."
