  Kiyoka sat in the circle with the rest of her class, glancing around as the homeroom teacher pulled out a red book and opened it with a small hum.

  " Alright everyone, who knows what a soulmate is?"

  A students hand shot up, a triumphant look on their face.

  " A soulmate is someone's destined partner! A red string will appear on their fingers that'll connect to another person!"

The teacher nodded with a smile," Good job!"

Red string...?

" From birth you've already been intwined with someone, and you may not realize it at first but you'll eventually find them!"

Kiyoka's have slowly went up, her eyes scanning the ground.

" Yes Ms. Maki?"

" I..." Kiyoka paused," why don't I have the string?"

" Ms. Maki, you need to start paying attention or else you will end up flunking out of school. Do you really want that?"

Kiyoka sighed, shaking her head soon as she avoided eye contact," No sir..."

" Good, now go home and study for tomorrow's exams."

" Yes sir..."

The blonde left the room quickly, sighing as she pulled at her hair and frowned a small bit.

I can't be flunking...Mom and Dad will kill me for sure...

She let out a scream in frustration, grabbing her bag and quickly walking out of the school building with her blue eyes squeezed shut.

  " Kiyoka! Kiyoka!"

  Yuzuki...Rika...

  The blonde turned, looking back at her friends  for a moment as she casted them a tired smile.

  They're soulmates...while I still don't have a string...

  " Kiyoka...h-hey, don't cry!"

  I'm crying?

  Sure enough, she was crying. Her blue eyes were filled with tears, which caused the girl to squeeze her eyes shut.

  Why am I different? Am I supposed to be alone forever?!

  " I-I hate this..."

  Kiyoka tipped her hat slightly, narrowing her eyes before she pulled the trigger and watched as a glass bottle in the distance shattered.

  " Will you stop? You're so annoying!"

  The blonde glanced back at her brother, frowning slightly before she turned back and aimed for another glass bottle.

  " Mooooommmm! Kiyoka's being an obnoxious bitch again!"

  " Ryutaro, don't yell so loud! You might wake up the entire country!"

  Ryutaro huffed, crossing his arms as he pulled his sweatshirt hood up and walked over to his older sister.

  " What are you even doing?"

  Kiyoka glanced back, sighing tiredly before she smiled," Just, taking my anger out on glass bottles..."
