Maybe it's time to really wake up from dreams. I have to get used to it when all this has happened and everything is real.

I said "Yeah. Why not?" in my last chat with Edgie. And everything won't be the same anymore.

Monday

I hate monday honestly, sorry. My tasks always piled up on today. Targets with nearly deadline. Ugh, so busy. And get overtime of course. I can only go home when it's 9 or 10 (pm). You already knew I got a new friend, right ? Yeah, this morning I have a few chat with him.

He asked me to have a walk in city park tonight. And I told him that I will come home late for tonight. I'm still accepting his invitation.

Edgie : " Do u wanna have a walk in the city park tonight ?"

Helena : " I'll finished it late tonight, like 10 maybe. U still wanna go ? "

Edgie : " That's up to you. I got free time "

Helena : " Catch me up at 10 "

Edgie : " Okay, can't wait to see you again "

Helena : " See you later "

Hours passed, my pile of tasks began to attack me. That's my routine every Monday. This Monday feels different, at least after I chat with him. The other Monday felt very heavy and like there was no end.
Now is 7.30 pm. I tried to knock him.

Helena : " Hey Edgie "

Edgie : " Oh, hey. What u doin ? "

Helena : " I got bored here. A lil bit tired "

Edgie : " Okay. You want me to buy u a drink or toast and I'll send it there, yeah ? "

Helena : " No no no no. I'm just sayin, you're my friend now. I just need to talk "

Minutes has passed, without his reply.

Edgie : " Okay, indeed. One matcha and cheeseburger in 5 minutes "

Helena : " 😑 I hate you "

Edgy : " 😄 Haha you're cute "

Helena : " 😏 "

Edgie : " Anything more u need ? "

Helena : " Actually, I don't need anything right now. But you just bought me a dinner. So yeah "

Edgie : " Tell me when u need anything "

Helena : " Okay. New friend "

Edgie : " Haha. Yeah, okay okay "

Helena : *typing*

I see my boss walk around, and towards me. Duh.

"Helena !" my boss called me, and the whole room being so tense.

"Omg..." I whispered to myself.

"Come here" she continued.

I go to her curiosly. A bit affraid.

"Security want to send this thing to a person in this room" she showed up a pack of meal with uneasy face.

"Oh damn, it's from Edgie" I keep talking to myself.

"... I just wanted to bring it for you. Written there 'Helena' It's you." She made me nervous. Then she continued again.

" So, here you are, enjoy please. It's a hard night for you, right? I'm so sorry, Helena " And my boss brought it to me. She gone to her room after that.

*huft*

Helena : " Sorry. I left u. My boss. And that meal delivered here. By her. LOL "

Edgie : " Oh. I see. I'm sorry too. Haha "

Helena : " It's okay. Thanks anyway. Bye. See you tonight "

Edgie : " Bye 👋 "

Waiting for a few hours. And I'm ready to home. Calm down Helena, you almost there.
I keep focused back to work, and continue the rest.

Ah finally, it's all done.

10 pm

Helena : " Okay. I'm ready to go now "

Edgie : " Yay ! Let's go "

We both drive to the park. Together, but we were not in the same car. He's using his Jaguar and I'm with my Mini Hatch. Mine is blue, for your info.

Arrived.

We started to walk around the park and talking each other.

" Woohoo, what an another precious day !"
I screamed a loud one.

" What happened? Interesting. Should I know it  ?" He asked.

" Oh. I mean it's just good the way it is. Hehe "
I answered shyly. Because I was scared he will know he made my day so much better than usually.

" Sorry. My bad. " He replied simply and cool.

" Not your fault. " I replied back.

Then I saw a bench at the park, and immediately sat on it. And also him.

" Oh gosh... I always wanted to sit here anytime, but I'm way too shy. " I'm relieved now.

" You can just invite me, if you want to. " His words never failed to kill me.

" Maybe soon, someday. By the way, I'm glad that you're here. " I started to lose my mind.

" Same. I feels something that I never felt before. " That makes me crazy.

*a moment of silence*

" We're friends. That's why we are the same, right? " I tried to take control.

" Right. " He noticed a limit that I gave.

" Maybe you wanna get some cotton candy. I will buy two. Bye. " He's kidding and just go, I go after him

" Haha, so funny. Thanks for the meal. And now the cotton candy, lol. " I thanked him when we're already at the cotton candy stand.

" No way ! We're out of cotton candy. Just the last one and only " He whimpered.

" Oh. You can eat it, nah for me" I tried to give him a chance.

" Wait, we still can share it for both of us. No problem, right? " He bought it and wanna share it with me. Oh no.

" Really? You're so sweet. I'll appreciate that. Let's eat together " I'm done.

" We eat it while walking to the parking lot, okay ? " I continued.

Because it's already 11 pm, and tomorrow I'll be back to work.

He said "Okay then"

I don't know why we couldn't stop smiling while we eating that fluffy and sweet stuff.
Bite after bite, we were already close to our both car. And this is the farewell for tonight.

" Bye. Do u want me to accompany u to the front of your apartment ? " He offered me sweet thing.

" No, thanks. You're really nice " But that's enough for today.

And we both going home.
