Unloved Mate

Chapter 7

Once we pulled up to the pack house I started barking orders. "Someone come take and care for Cassie in the infirmary! I'll be there in a while. Jacob come we have a serious matter to discuss!"

Everyone obeyed my commands and retrieved Cassie and brought her to the infirmary. Then Jacob came running to me with concern written all over his face.

"What's wrong, Ash? What happened to Cassie?" I fumed as he threw questions at me. "They hurt my mate and now must pay!" Confusion. still evident on his face when he asked the next question. "Who?"

I felt my wolf try to take over but I kept him under control. "The Damned Red River pack! They beat Cassie!" I felt my temper flair. Jacob laid a comforting hand on my shoulder and it calmed me some but not enough.

"OK so tell me what you're planning to do." I turned to him and smirked. "Slaughter them painfully." He grinned wider, I only saw this side of him once and that was when his parents were killed.

Flashback

"Ash, Jacob, go into the house and hide hurry the wolves are coming!" His mother yelled and we obeyed. Once we were in the house Jacob stayed by the door to see if his parents win. When he saw them die in front of his eyes he smiled at me menacingly and ran out the door and slaughtered them slowly and powerfully. I never wanted to see him like that again.

End

He patted me on the shoulder and went and readied himself for the fight. Yes it was happening today. Meanwhile, I went to go check on my lovely, but unconscious mate.

I entered the Infirmary to see her laying there still and with bandages wrapping her beautiful head. I walked over to the nurse once she was finished with and asked her what condition she was in.

"I'm very sorry Alpha but she's in a very deep coma and I'm not sure if she can pull herself out of it. Whatever she was hit with was very blunt and hit her with so much force it caused her skull to crack. Her bruises will heal slower being she is unconscious, she had very bad internal bleeding but we managed to stop it, all she needs now is to have the strength to get herself out of this."

My heart broke, My world shattered my mate may not live because of those bastards at the Red River pack house. How could they be so heartless? Now I must get revenge.

For Cassie.

Jacob came in and pulled my attention to him. "How is she?" I felt my eyes turn black. "She might die because of those assholes." His eyes got wide then turned a jet black.

"Come on let's visit them. No back up just us." I nodded and put on my crooked smile. I kissed Cassie on her lips. "I love you."

After that Jacob and I made our way to the Red River Pack house.

When we got there it was terribly quiet. Jacob and I walked in to find everyone......dead. "Dude what do you think happened?" Jacob asked and checked the bodies.

I looked around to find the entire pack and even the Alpha was slaughtered, too bad I couldn't do it. I walked down to what used to be Cassie's room

Everything was trashed, then something caught my attention on the wall. It said something and when I figured it out my heart dropped. It read:

Dear Alpha Ash

Cassie is mine enjoy trying to find her. P.S. its a pitty she won't be able to say I love you back.

It was written In blood, and I dashed out of the room. I pulled Jacob out of the house and to the car. "Man what's wrong?" "They have Cassie." He flinched and I sped back to the Pack house.

Once we got there it was pure chaos. "EVERYONE SHUT UP AND TELL ME WHATS HAPPENING!" I used my Alpha voice and everyone instantly quieted. The nurse from early stepped forward.

"Alpha vampires. They took Cassie, while she was still unconscious. I tried to get her but-" I cut her off and went into my office to call someone I never though I would need to in a crisis, the head vampire of all vampires, Mr. Ralph Kings.
