We reached the restaurant. Cassie was smuggled against my chest listening to my heart beat. We all started piling out of the van and went to the front desk. "Reservations?" She looked directly at me smiling. "Yes reservations for Weathers." She typed a few keys and looked back at me.

"That's right Mr.Weather's here are your menus and if you follow me I'll direct you to your table." I had my grip tight around Cassie, something didn't feel right here. I think she noticed because she mind-linked me. "Ash what's wrong?" Her voice full of concern. "Something isn't right. Don't worry about it if something happens just stay by my side, okay?"

She nodded and we reached out table for 6. Jacob and Ariana sat together, Sophie and Jared sat together then finally Cassie and I sat together.

A waiter came and took our orders, while we talked quietly about nothing really. Then Cassie stood up. "I'm going to the rest room." Then Sophie got up running her hands over her now noticeable belly. "I'm gonna go to." Then Ariana followed suit. "Me too." They all started walking off together.

I overheard them start talking about how cute Sophie's baby would come out. I can't wait until that's me and Cassie......

We all went into the bathroom and did our business. The bathroom was huge. Mirrors plastered on the wall, and fancy sinks. When we were ready to leave, a low laugh boomed through the ladies room. I ran and went to open the door but found it locked.

I went back to Sophie and Ariana to see Caleb standing behind them. He had a hand over Sophie's stomach. She looked shaken with fear. "Hello Cassie." I stepped forward. "Let go of Sophie please Caleb, this is between me and you not her."

I reached for Sophie but he pulled her back with do much force a sickening crack became audible. He smiled and applied more pressure to her stomach causing blood to tin down her leg. She screamed falling to the ground hugging herself.

A banging came furiously on the door followed by Jared, Jacob, and Ash's voices. I bent down next to Sophie along with Ariana as Caleb stood over us. Before I could ask if she was ok he grabbed my hair causing me to cry out in pain. "CASSIE!!" Ash's voice called to me.

"A-" Caleb smashed my head against the wall causing a warm liquid to flow down my face at a rapid speed. Caleb kneed me in the face and I collapsed on the ground. "I'll be back." He whispered to me. Dropping me back onto the ground.

He used vampire speed and left the bathroom. I heard a faint up roar of angry voices cursing. Ash, Jared , and Jacob ran in each coming to us. Jared broke down crying and Ariana looked terrified. Before darkness engulfed me Ash lifted my head off the blood stained floor and cradled it.

He cried softly, no one has ever seen the Alpha cry but I guess the only ones that ever will is us. "Stay with me baby"........"Sophie its gonna be OK."........."Ariana keep calm." All the guys reassuring us. "Ash....." Was the last thing I said before my eyes slipped closed.

"Guys you hear that? THAT'S SOPHIE!" Jared screamed across the table. He got up and raced to the bathroom with us following right behind him. Jacob ordered everyone out of the restaurant.
