Chapter 4

Cassie

After walking for about 2 hours, I stumbled onto another pack house. It looked something like my old one, too.

It was a brown color, it had many windows, as the lining of them were and orange color, the door was made of class and it had double steps.

As I gazed over the beautiful house the bushes behind me shook violently. And that was my cue to run.

Before I could get away from the house I was tackled with so much force the world started spinning. Yup definitely got a couple bruises! Note the sarcasm.

I pulled my hand to my head and retrieved it to see it covered in thick red blood. My eyelids became heavy and the pain from my head was unbearable.

So finally, I welcomed the dark with open arms.

I opened my eyes to be greeted by nothing but darkness. Am I dead? I squinted trying to focus on the figure in front of me.

I felt the back of my head, to feel it sore. I winced at the tiny touch. Jordan where are we? I tried connecting to my wolf, but she just curled up in the back of my mind cutting off all connection.

"Hello?!" I screamed out to the figure. They turned towards me and he looked about my age.

He had blonde hair, brown eyes, and was not muscular bit looked strong.

"What?" He spat with venom in his voice. "Where am I?" He narrowed his eyes at me and smirked. What with that?

"You are at the Black Forest Holding Cell. The Alpha is not here but will be back to deal with you." My face must've been priceless because he laughed.

"What did I do?!" He looked annoyed by this point. "You have trespassed onto our territory rogue. Now shut it before I torture you myself."

I snorted in an unladylike fashion at his threat. "OK whatever." I don't know why but a surge of confidence went through me.

He stepped through the gate and grabbed my chin roughly causing my confidence to disappear.

He slapped me across the face repeatedly. Blood gushed down my face like a waterfall.

He kicked me in my stomach until I was on the verge of throwing up.

Then he started punching me every where.   

He picked me up by my throat bringing me off the ground. "I'm going to kill you before the Alpha even arrives."

He smirked and brought back his fist ready to punch until he froze. "DYLAN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!!" He dropped me and bowed to someone as he apologized and looked down fear in his expression.

I'm guessing he was the Alpha. When he walked towards me I paled. It was the man that tackled me in the forest.

He seemed to notice and also paled. We stared into each others eyes for about 5 seconds until my wolf said something to me for the first time today, MATE.

She howled in delight as their wolves talked to each other. "M-mate," Was the last thing I said as I slipped out of consciousness.

Ash(Alpha)

I just gotten back from the woods trying to find the rogue from yesterday.

Once we gave up I went to the holding cells, because one of the guards said they caught a rogue.

When I got there my guard, Dylan was holding her up by her neck. "DYLAN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!!" I screamed at him and he bowed muttering apologies.

I walked up to the girl to see she was the one I tackled yesterday, the rogue. Dust started howling something and when I realized it she had already said it. "M-mate."

She had passed out on the floor limp and my anger surged through my body.

Dylan turned dangerously pale when he noticed what she said. I grabbed him by the throat and pinned him against the wall.

"HOW DARE YOU HURT WHATS MINE?!" He squirmed in my grip and cries out. "I'm sorry I didn't realize she was your mate."

Before I could snap his neck my Beta, Jacob pulled me off of him and looked into my black eyes.

"Ash what the hell happened?" I ignored him and walked over to my mates body and picked him up. I physically winced when I noticed bruises on her.

I finally spoke to my Beta after holding her. "He assaulted his Luna. Jacobs eyes widened and looked at Dylan. I narrowed my eyes at him and walked away with My mate in my arms.

I took her to my bedroom and mentally called the pack doctor who arrived to tend to her. I growled as he letter her shirt and he quickly apologized.

Then he paled drastically. "Um Alpha she is hurt pretty bad and not only from this attack there have been more, and she may have been raped a couple of times."

I growled loudly picking up the dresser AMD throwing it against the wall. I stood outside the door not wanting to see more.

Who could hurt our mate? I asked Dust. He whined not knowing the answer. I'll find out if its the last thing I do I can guarantee that.
