Chapter 5

Cassie

I woke up to something in my hand. I look over to see the guy from the wood sleeping on the bed, holding my hand.

"What happened?" I asked myself, then the memories started flooding in at a fast pace.

I felt tears prick the corner of my eyes as I remembered the beating from the guard, then I remembered finding my mate.

Jordan howled happily as she also remembered his wolf Dust.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by bright greenish yellowish eyes staring at me. It was my mate!

"Mine." He growled to me showing his possessiveness. I smiled at him and he returned it.

"Alpha I was coming to check on you-" A man walked in about 20 blonde hair, brown eyes, nicely sculpted chin, and slightly buff.

Then I realized he was talking to my mate. "You're the Alpha of the Black Forest Pack?" I asked honestly confused.

He smirked at me and answered. "Yes I am. My name is Ashton, but everyone calls me Ash. So today's your lucky day you could call me, baby."

He voice was deep be understandable and I laughed at his remark. I poked his nose and got out of bed to stretch.

"You wish and I'm Cassie." He laughed at me and came over to wrap his strong arms around my body, at first I tensed then relaxed.

"Are you hungry?" Before I could answer my stomach did it for me sending him into a laughing fit. "I'll take that as a yes."

We walked out of the room and made a bunch of twists and turns until we entered the kitchen. It only sat the guy from earlier and a woman.

She was a brunette, with blue eyes, thin lips, big chest, no butt, and a slutty skin tight dress. She turned her head to see the way Ash and I were together and scoffed.

She walked over to me and stood in my face. "If I were you I would get off my man." She slapped me across the face earning a growl from Jordan.

I grabbed her by her throat and put her against the wall and off the ground. "Last time I checked he was my mate and your Alpha. Lay your filthy hands on me again you will not see another day. I am the Luna disrespect me again and it will not be pretty understand?!"

I drooped her to the floor and she nodded AMD ran out of the house. I took at deep breath to try and calm Jordan some. When my vision returned there stood in front of me a smirking Ash.

"Nice job, Luna." He kissed my cheek and went on with making breakfast.

Ash

When Cassie and I came down the stairs and went into the kitchen Sophie sat there. When she noticed Cassie and I she glared.

She got up and walked over to Cassie and looked straight in her face. "If I were you I would get off my man." Then she slapped her across the face.

She got a throaty growl from Cassie before she could get one from me, and before I knew it Cassie had Sophie up against the wall by her throat.

"Last time I checked he was my mate and your Alpha. Lay your filthy hands on me again you will not see another day. I am the Luna disrespect me again and it will not be pretty understand?!"

Her threats were heart filled and it scared me some, but also turned me on a little.

When Sophie ran away I wrapped my arms around Cassie and said to her. "Nice job, Luna." I kissed her cheek and went on with making breakfast.

I'm gonna like having Cassie here.

Cassie

Breakfast was perfect. Ash made Pancakes, eggs, toast, and sausage. Definitely a upgrade from what I ate at the Red river Pack.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Ash standing right in front of me.

"Yes?" I said with an eyebrow up and he came Down to my level. "We have to talk." Now I was worried.

He pulled me up to a bedroom and threw the door open and pulled me in. He sat me down on the bed and stood over me.

As if it were instinct I crawled into the corner as fast as I could, put my hands over my ears, and squeezed my eyes shut.

I started to have flashbacks of what happened with Beta Curtis and Alpha Alex and his brother.

When nothing happened I opened one eye to see a hurt looking Ash.

"Sorry." Was all I could mumble. He came to me and held me in his strong embrace sending electric shocks everywhere.

"Don't be. That's what we need to talk about." He held my chin in his hand and forced me to look into his eyes. "Who abused you Cassie?"

My world started crashing down. How could I tell him my old pack abused me so easily? I shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other.

"Uh-uh erm it was my my old p-p-pack." I winced at how much I stuttered. Then concentrated on Ash.

His now black eyes stared at me with shock, anger, confusion, and something else. He held me close and growled uncontrollably.

"We're going there." Is what he said that caused everything to go black.

Hi everyone I know don't kill me but its short. Be happy I gave you something. My charger to my phone broke so it took me a while today. It might take me a while for a while (lol) but when I buy a new one I'll update 24/7. Ummm so yea have a nice day bye!!
