Cassie's mom

Cassie

"Mom?" Her long white dress flowed behind her in the windless air. She smiled and nodes at me and held out her hand. I absentmindedly went and took it, leaving Ash's grip. She held out another hand and it was for Ash. I turned to see him standing there looking pale, and shocked.

"Come Ashton." His eyes widened at her soft, calm voice. Nobody ever calls him by his real name. "But me sweetheart." I looked at her confused. "I can read minds. Now I have information for you both." She said as Ash grabbed her hand.

"The vampire is after Cassie am I right?" We both nodded keeping our eyes on my mother. I rubbed her hand with both of mine. They felt cold, rough, and lifeless. I tried to share my warmth. "He will be here in no less then 72 hours. That's how long you both have to make up, stop trying to take the upper hand, and form an alliance to kill him because I'll tell you now he has an army, and they are big."

She looked us straight in the eyes and she pulled her hands together. She locked Ash's and my hands together. "Ashton, my daughter may not make the best choices....." She eyed me skeptically. "But she will come up with something, work with her."

He nodded and turned to face me. "And Cassie, sweety I know you wanted to do the right thing for Sophie but Jared was a spy for the vampire, until he found his mate. Be very grateful he did, he turned his back on Caleb and joined you truthfully, don't take him for granted he's very strong."

I nodded and looked down at Ash's and my hands. I smiled faintly. Then looked back at my mom. "Mom what do we do?" She shook her head and started fading. "That's for you to figure out sweety, I have to go Jacob is coming. Good luck sweetheart I love you both." She kissed Ash's forehead, then mine.

I closed my eyes and felt her pull away then a cold air run through me. I opened my eyes, she was gone. I looked at Ash and he pulled me into his arms. "I'll protect you, I'll be there when you need me, I'm so sorry Cassie." I looked at him. "No I'm sorry I should've listened, you were right." He nodded and placed my face in his hands.

He kissed me eager, and gentle. Sparks flew and I was engulfed in a light feeling. I giggled against his lips. He wrapped his arms around me and I tangled my fingers in his hair. Before the kiss could get heated a knock came at our door. We broke the kiss smiling like idiots at each other. "Come in Jacob!" Ash yelled not upset but happy.

Jacob entered and smiled at us. "Someone's happy!" He said to Ash with his hands in his pocket. Ash nodded and played with my hair. "What do you need?" He brightened up more. "I was wondering if you guys wanted to go out, for dinner or something you know take a break, the rest of the pack is going."

His offer sounded relaxing and quite enjoyable. Then I remembered what my mom had said so I mind-linked Ash. "Should we? Remember mom said to form an alliance." He held me tighter. "Its alright we'll do it tomorrow, okay I mean if you want." I nodded and looked at Jacob. "Yeah we'll go!" He laughed and nodded leaving the room.

"WE'RE LEAVING IN AN HOUR!" He yelled toward us.

1 Hour Later (Cassie's POV)

"DONE!" I said as Ash walked out of the bathroom looking like a sex god. "Stop staring you know I belong to you." I chuckled and walked in the closet to get my black strapped heels. I was dressed in an open back dress with lace shoulders and my hair was wild.

Ash was dressed in black denim jeans, a grey shirt that matched my silver glitter lined heels. And he ended with the messy hair look and Black sneakers. "Hey sex god mind if I kiss you?" I asked chuckling slightly as I walked over to him. He wrapped his arms around me. "Not at all sex goddess."

I laughed and put my hands on his chest. I gently pulled him down to meet my lips. His pushed against mine softly, making the kiss last. "ALPHA LUNA ITS TIME TO GO!" We broke the kiss and I laid my head on his chest blushing slightly.

We walked out of our room and walked all the way down the stairs. We got to the bottom to be met with half of the pack. "Some didn't wanna go." Jacob added at my curiousness. I nodded and we were met with Sophie and Jared. "Wow you guys look amazing together!" Sophie exclaimed hugging me.

She was dressed in a turquoise no strapped dress that didn't look slutty like you'd expect. Jared was dressed in a light baby blue shirt and blue jeans they both wore blue shoes except Sophie's were heels. Ash and Jared shook hands and we went out to the car.

Jacob and his mate Ariana sat in the two front seats while Sophie and Jared sat in the middle, and Ash and I sat in the very back. He had his arms wrapped around me securely pecking little kisses on my neck tracing down to my collarbone. He cane up to my ear. "I don't think your close enough kitten."

My heart fluttered at his cute nickname. He pulled me onto his lap. I think this is gonna be a fun night.
