Chapter 18

Ash

I know what your thinking, no she is not pregnant with my child. I would never have sex with her its revolting. I was nervous because she wanted to talk to me about it, meaning its someone child that I know. That will cause bad drama in the pack.

I could feel Cassie's anger, accusations, and hurt radiating off of her. I honestly feel hurt having Cassie thinking that I would get someone like Sophie pregnant. "How do you know this Ash?" I could hear the hurt in Cassie's voice. I rubbed her back reassuringly. "Cassie any wolf can sense when a she-wolf is pregnant. But its not mine I have never had that type of relationship with Sophie. She probably wanted to speak to me about it because its someone I knew."

I could feel the relief spreading through our bound. "Call her back in but you two may not speak in private. It could be in front of me. No if, ands, or buts, about it." I nodded. "I couldn't agree more." She nodded and I called Sophie back. She entered the room and we told her the rules. She agreed and looked at the floor.

"Uh, I found my mate." I felt happiness spread through the bound from Cassie, maybe because now Sophie is off of me. But why was she so nervous? "And?" I asked. She looked at Cassie but not me. "He's the new rogue they caught on our territory, and I snuck out and we got together, and now I'm pregnant."

How could she sneak out and go with him? Who knows an what she could've told him? He could be a spy or something. I know it sounds stupid, and crazy but you have to take these type of measures because sometimes they are true. I quickly put Cassie down and walked over to her glaring.

I could feel my temper rising higher, and higher. She backed into the wall. I ignored the pull of the bound, for me to return to Cassie. "Do you think?" I asked her when I cornered her to the wall. "He could have been a spy or something for that revolting blood sucker that came her no less than 24 hours ago to kill your Luna. Now you go around sleeping with him, mate or not?"

Tears formed in her eyes. I felt soft hands caress my arm. Pulling me away from the she-wolf. I obeyed and sat on the bed, Cassie looked me in the eyes. "Calm down and sit there, you can't get upset with her because you did the same thing the only difference is you didn't get me pregnant." Well she did have a point, maybe I should just let Cassie handle for once.

Cassie

As Ash stalked over to Sophie, I could feel his anger rising, the closer he came to her. "Do you think?" He sneered. "He could have been a spy or something for that revolting blood sucker that came here no less than 24 hours ago to kill your Luna. Now you go around sleeping with him, mate or not?"

Tears formed in her eyes and she was on the verge of breaking down. I couldn't see that happen. I ran my hands on his arms and pulled him to the bed. He obeyed and Jordan rejoiced that he listened to us. I looked him in the eyes. "Calm down and sit there, you can't get upset with her because you did the same thing the only difference is you didn't get me pregnant."

He thought for a second and nodded, I guess he was gonna let me take over. I walked over to Sophie and did something I thought I never would, I hugged her. She returned it and I felt her stray tears fall on my shoulder. She was terrified and guilty, Ash didn't need to add onto that. I pulled away and looked at her. "Let's meet him, and see if Ash will accept him."

"No." And just like that my taking over this entire situation was done. "Ash shut up. Its her mate, let's see if he's really just another rogue who stumbled upon our land." He growled, I really didn't care. She deserved to have a mate. I pulled her along with me out the door. "Sophie I command you to stay here!" He used his Alpha tone and instantly she stopped.

"Sophie I command you to keep walking along with me!" She looked nervous, poor girl was stuck in the middle. She didn't walk and I sighed. "I'll come get you after I deal with this okay?" She nodded and hugged me again. She left and I walked back into the room with Ash and closed the door.

"What the hell is your problem?" He glared. "I will not let her go see her mate who is a rogue who could be out to hurt someone in this pack. I'm sorry but the pack is more important." How dare he that is not fair to her at all. "No that's not fair what if I was a rogue who was out to hurt the pack, that didn't stop you!" I yelled at him and he growled, what? "Its an order I said no!"

He used his Alpha voice on me. It hurt me, a lot I was not going to obey, no. I walked out the door without another word. Tears formed in my eyes. I arrived at Sophie's door and knocked. She opened, and saw tears in my eyes and invited me in. I never thought I would come to her at these times but hey people change.

"Luna what's wrong?" I sat on her bed and she sat next to me and looked at me concerned. "Call me Cassie please." She nodded. "Cassie what's wrong?" She corrected herself. "He used his Alpha tone on me saying he commanded me not to let you see your mate." I could see the hurt, and guilt in her eyes. "I'm sorry Cassie I brought this between you both. Its fine I don't have to see Jared."

I shook my head no. "No your seeing your mate, its only fair." I wiped the few stray tears that stained my face. I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of her room door. "Cassie I don't think that's a good idea, the Alpha-" I cut her off. "I really don't give a shit what the Alpha says right now. Show me Jared's cell, I'll get him out I'm the Luna of the pack so I have a say in some things."

When we reached the dungeons she showed me her mates cell. I was sitting against the wall. He had brown hair that laid over his eyes carelessly, green eyes that I could see in the darkened light, he was light but becoming skinny from the lack of food down here. "Guard!" I called one who ran over immediately.

"Yes Luna?" He bowed. "Open this cell and let the prisoner out." He looked confused for a second. Then scared. "I'm sorry Luna but I only could do that by the Alphas word." I growled. What the fuck why does no one want to listen to me. "Open. The. Damn. Cell. Now!" He stood there shaking visibly.

I tried my best to keep calm and keep Jordan from surfacing. "Give me the key." He refused. That's it. "do it before I do something I regret, please." I asked in a very low voice. He seemed to be battling himself. You know what? Whatever. I was so angry I round housed the cell lock. (Round house is a type of kick that could really hurt someone.)

I opened it and looked at Sophie who stood there obviously scared. So did her mate. Wow. I went in and kneeled down by him. "I'm the Luna of this pack, you will not meet the Alpha yet. Don't cross paths with him because he's a little hot headed. Enjoy your mate, and your child. You are now apart of this pack, do not destroy our trust, understand?"

He nodded and I helped him up. Sophie ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "Thank you dearly, Lu- Cassie." I returned the hug and nodded. Then she hugged her mate. I smiled, they were the perfect couple, then I noticed Sophie was not wearing her usual slutty attire, but something more formal and presentable. I acknowledged her.

He wrapped an arm around her and we walked out pass the fearful looking guard. I smirked. We got outside and was met with a hot-headed, very angry Alpha.
