I left Edward's with the other end of the magnetic heart shaped necklace dangling from my hand. The lawn path on which I trod had barely tall shrubs by it sides dancing slowly to the soft music being played by the wind. I walked a bit further, paying close attention to the dead night's silence and probable evil lurking in the shadows of the street. The street lights stood idly at the sides letting their warm orange glow flirt with the tar.

I heard rustling a few steps away and called out, but got replied to by the resonance of my echo. I looked around and away confronting my delusions with assumptions that some scaredy bunny scurried away. I was wrong. I hadn't known that, until the foot steps increased and I was just a few steps to hopping into my car. I turned around and saw a silhouetted figure at the middle of the road approach progressively to my direction. I panicked and sent my fingers on a mission to retrieve my car keys from my jeans. I looked again and the light rays sprinkled some life into the dark image my brain had registered. He wore a black suit and had a glowy tan. I looked away once more  and left the keys at the mercy of my shaky palms. It fell off and sought rest in the dark shadows. I tried lighting up my phone by repeatedly pressing the side buttons to turn it on. I finally did and then it got yanked off by the figure.

"Please don't hurt me. I beg you, I'm pregnant."

"Yeah, we will see about that," he said holding my hands to the back with one hand, and pushing me with the other. I was led into a black Lexus car and realized some other men were in it. I was made to sit in between two and they guarded the two sides of the back seat. While the guy who attacked me, sat on the passenger seat right next to the one who roared the engine to life.

The road was empty and we passed a few turns till I lost track of the location. There was a dead silence in the car, until the driver tuned the radio set for some classical music. After that, another played, then another, then another. Until I couldn't take it no more.

"I need to pee," I said turning to the man at my right.

"Keep quiet." was the blunt response.

"I need to pee!" I yelled. When no-one showed any manner of concern, I continued. "I don't know who sent you, but I'm pretty sure they want me alive. Now unless you want a pregnant woman, packed in between two hefty men and sensing a budding feeling of nausea in your care, I recommend you let me go. Wouldn't it be a shame, if whoever sent you realized I died of asphyxiation on my way? Stop the car, I need to go like real bad."

"Fine, stop the car." The one at the passenger seat instructed.

They led me outside and into a grassy field. I hoped they would look away, but their stares returned mine.

"Look away. You can't see me doing my business."

"The instructions said eyes only. Do your thing, we will only make sure you don't escape."

"Are you crazy?" I began laughing ridiculously, "escape to where exactly? We are in the middle of nowhere. I'm not with my car keys or my phone. It's not like I'm going to run off like a mad pregnant woman on the loose. Please look away."

One whispered into the other's ear and soon they nodded in unison. They turned their backs while I fiddled with the button on my jeans and taking few steps back, I ran away.

Well, I ran like a mad pregnant woman on the loose indeed.

They chased after me and caught me under seconds, locking my arms under theirs and dragging me away and back into the car. The journey continued and before long, we approached a mansion with Greek columns standing strong and holding up the high ceilings. A white front yard porch greeted our presence and the transmit windows reflected from where they hung. We pulled over and I was led out of the car not realizing for how long my lips were agape until we went in. I toppled over the embroidered floor mat whilst staring at the crackling fire place and the bar. I climbed the stairs following the lead of the one who posed as the leader and ended up in a room, right about the white hallway.
