Everything went wrong

That was the last time we got to do anything like that.

Soon enough Laraby was shouting about Needing more power and the next thing we knew we were being strapped up to this giant machine with Needles hovering over us. The others ended up going before Connor and me. I was second to last while Connor was the last. Once the needles emptied their radiation into my skin I followed a bright white blinding the nearest doctors. My eyes burned and I felt something like hot fire on my back. I ripped myself from my restraints and fell to the floor away from the needles feeling everything 10x heavier. The light faded and I was gasping large breaths in and out with my hands clutching my head. I felt a shadow and looked up and back. Large white wings were stationed from my back making me gawk at them. They stood larger than my height dragging on the ground a little behind me. I flexed them in shock and felt my hands twitching. I moved small electricity snakes around my fingers and freaked out silently.

The next thing I knew it I was being dragged out of the room and thrown into the viewing room where Jack, Dianne, Alice and Jed were all nursing their injections.

"Your tattoos became the real thing?" Alice asked

"I guess so"I whispered. I felt the air shift and my senses heightened "Somethings wrong" I said loudly. "Stop the machine! Somethings wrong with it! It's not gonna help him! It's gonna change him!" I shouted running to the door and pounding on it.

"Nothing gonna do anything" Jack said "it's just gonna enhance his powers, so what?" He asked

"No it's not! Don't you see! The machine! It's broke!" I shouted trying to break out.

"Nothings broken Jess!" Jack shouted "now shush before you get us in trouble" he said making me wince.

"I can't lose him" I whispered clutching my head. I felt Alice come over and grasp my hand.

"It'll be okay" she whispered

"No it won't be. Don't you remember that dream? That all of us got? This is what leads to that. I can feel it in my bones. It's my instincts" I said desperately.

"Guys maybe we should listen to her" Alice said standing in front of me. Jack scoffed and rolled his eyes

"Not you too"He cried out

"Do you have animal instincts that make you sense bad things?" Alice asked

"No bu-" he was cut off by her saying

"Than shut up"

"It's too late"I muttered 10 times clutching my head in my hands. I heard an explosion and shook. Standing in the middle of the room was the man we'd all seen in the dream, with red eyes and a murderous look.

"Hello everybody, let's play" dark Connor said darkly.

"Connor, please don't do this love" I whispered pulling myself to the edge of the destruction.

"Sorry love, no can do, I'm not myself right now" Conor said kneeling in front of my before growling and jumping around me and blasting soldiers away. I curled into a ball in my wings and felt soldiers grab me. They tossed me into a cold room and blasted freezing air into it. I could feel my body hardening but my eyes were closed so I couldn't see.

"She's a threat. He could bring her to his side. She's too strong to be on the other side" I heard Laraby say

"She's only a kid." I heard Grant

"So are the others, but they are weapons now"

"But General Laraby-"grant began

"She can't cause any damage now, don't show the kids where she is, they'll try to break her out" I heard Grant sigh and began to silently sob in my mind. I heard crackling and a presence at the bottom of my wing. Shadow I felt tears slip from my closed eyes.

I stayed like this for 30 years, I'd heard that Connor went crazy trying to find me, trying to save me. When Laraby lies saying I died he lost whatever was holding him to as he was. He destroyed the team. Alice, Jed, Dianne. All gone, except for Jack. Jack sent Connor into a correct and through a space time continuum. After he sent Connor into the vortex he was told exactly what happened to me. He was showed my body and Jack was Furious. He was screaming at them to let me go. But one thing I heard made me pause.

"You have no hold over us anymore! You don't even have your powers! You aren't even supposed to be here" that shocked me. He lost his powers saving the world from Connor, or as they used a code name 'concussion'. I was heartbroken. Now it's been 30 years. I haven't aged a second through my body, but I've heard everything. That went on through the years. Including the fact that Connor was coming back. Coming back to get revenge for my death. That was when I heard them.
