Time skip (5 years later)
Life couldn't be greater. Connor and I lived in our cabin in the woods secluded from the world that could endanger us, but we still had interactions. For example we went into town weekly to buy groceries and he even went into town on his own to buy my engagement ring for me. We got married last year. I know, only took 34 years. Currently I'm in bed with Connor, his arms wrapped around me rubbing my slowly swelling stomach pressing kisses to my neck, as Shadow rested at our feet.
"I love you" I heard him whisper
"I love you too" I whispered back smiling and quickly falling asleep.
