Chapter 15 Welcome Back

It's already the end of the month.
Your p.o.v.
My parents come home tomorrow. Jared, Connor, Zoe, Evan and I were hanging out in the living room. We decided to watch a movie together. My Aunt Mel was feeding (S/D/N) some lunch. After watching the movie all of us planned to head to the mall to walk around. My aunt Mel said she'd watch over (S/D/N) while I went out with my friends. We finally got to the mall and went into groups to do our own thing. Jared went with Zoe and Evan. Connor and I were left alone to wonder on our own.
Jared's P.O.V.
I stayed a bit behind Evan and Zoe. I was on my phone checking a few things. Not really paying attention to where I was going I bumped into someone,"Oh sorry I didn't mean to bump into you."I apologized while fixing my glasses. I looked up and noticed this person,"Hey its okay I should've watched where I was going as well."she apologized I shook my head,"No really it's fine. It was my fault. Also you look very familiar."I said she adjusted her glasses,"Yeah you do to. Your Jared right?" She asked then I realized that it was Alana Beck. We have chemistry and English together,"Yeah. Your Alana right?" I asked she smiled and nodded,"Yeah we have English and Chemistry together." She said we both talked for a bit longer,"Hey do you maybe want to hang out with me and my friends?" I asked. She seemed taken a back by what I asked. As if no one has asked her to hang out before,"Well I don't want to intrude or anything." She stuttered. I shook my head,"No really it's the least I can do for bumping into you." I reassured she smiled warmly at me,"Okay." We both walked together and kept talking.
Your P.O.V.
We all met up for lunch and sat a table. I also got to see Alana again which is super cool. After a while Alana had to leave,"Hey I'm gonna head out. But hopefully I'll see you again." She said while getting up from her chair. I got up as well to give her a hug,"What's your number so we can talk later?" I asked she beamed brightly. We exchanged numbers and she left. The rest of us chatted some more. Finally we finished eating and threw our trash away.~○~ Everybody went home. Jared and I were back on the couch. (S/D/N) was sitting on my lap. I bounced my leg up and down she/he started to burst into fits of giggles. I looked over at Jared who was on his phone texting,"Who you texting?" I asked he looked over at me,"Alana." He replied looking back at his phone. I smirked to myself I stopped bouncing my leg,"M-moma." I looked at my daughter/son in disbelief,"JARED DID YOU HEAR THAT?!" I yelled excitedly
"Aww man why couldn't you say insanely cool uncle Jared Kleinman?" He complained I playfully rolled my eyes. My Aunt Mel ran into the living room,"What happened?!" She panted
"(S/D/N) SAID HER FIRST WORD!" I exclaimed my aunt mel was so happy,"Aww how adorable!" She gushed. I placed kisses all over (S/D/N)'s cheek," I am so proud of you baby." ~○~ I put (S/D/N) to sleep. I decided to change into my pajamas myself. I couldn't wait to tell my parents. After getting readying decided to call Connor since it was still early. The phone rang and then Connor finally answered,"BABE! You won't believe what happened today!" I exclaimed he chuckled,"What happened?"he asked.
"(S/D/N) said their first word." I said happily,"They said momma." I gushed he chuckled,"That's great news babe." He replied I smiled,"Yeah it is. Soon she's going to be a year old." I sighed
"Whens her/his birthday?" He asked
"In about three weeks." I replied
"Wow that's crazy. They grow up so fast." He said
"Yeah they do..." I sighed,"My parents come back tomorrow." I mention while laying on my bed.
"Nice." He replied I hummed in response,"Maybe soon you'll get to meet them."I said he hummed in response,"Maybe.."he replied,"I've never actually really been in a serious relationship."he said a bit nervously.
"That's fine. I'm not saying now but soon. We'll see where things will lead us." I replied.
"Better to wait." He said I agreed. We finished up our conversation and ended up getting off. Due to us both being tired. I turned off my light and went to sleep.~○~ It was around lunch time and my parents were finally home. My Aunt Mel was helping my mom unpack upstairs. I was feeding (S/D/N) some lunch. My aunt and mom came down,"Hey mom guess what?" I said
"What?" She asked
"She/He said his/her first word!" I said
"Awww how cute." My mom gushed,"I wish I was here to see it." My mom said. I smiled and continued to feed my child.
