Chapter 24 Picnic

Your P.O.V.
Connor and I woke up earlier than everyone else. I sat at the table with Connor eating some cereal,"I had fun last night." I said while looking at Connor with a smile on my face. He smiled at me,"I did too." He replied while gently taking my free hand and holding it. His thumb made small circles on my hand his small gesture makes me smile. This moment makes me feel happy and safe, I feel like I can do anything, Connor is so wonderful and I'm just so in love with him. I don't know what I'd do without him he's been so helpful and kind. I'm really hoping this relationship lasts my thoughts were interrupted as I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I look over and see my parents walking towards the table, my mom smiled at me,"We are going to head to work right now. (S/D/N) is still asleep." My mom says, I simply nod as a response, my dad was behind my mom as I made eye contact with my dad he looked away. It was a bit weird but I'm used to my dad acting this way. Both my parents soon left to go to work Connor and I cleaned up the kitchen. Both of us headed upstairs to my bedroom (s/d/n) was still asleep. I sat on the edge of my bed, Connor sat beside me. I leaned on to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. His arm wrapped around me,"What are we going to do today?" He asked I shrugged,"I'm not to sure. What do you want to do?" I asked he shrugged as well,"We could go to A La Mode. All of us. We could have a picnic at the orchard and I know (s/d/n) definitely wants to get out of the house." I chuckle and look over at my baby's crib. (S/D/N) started to move around, then she/he suddenly sat up and rubbed her eyes. She/he looked around the room and finally her/his eyes landed on me and Connor. She/He had the biggest smile on his/her face she/he stood up and called out for Connor,"Dada!" I looked up at Connor and smiled noticing him looking over his shoulder with a smile looking at the small child. I let go of Connor, he walked to the crib and picked up the child. He placed her/him on his hip Connors smile was so wide. He looked at (s/d/n) with such happiness (s/d/n) has a huge smile on his/her face as well. I smiled at them and snuck a picture of them.~○~
Once everyone was awake and done got ready we all headed out to A La Mode. We all went in two different cars. I used my car since (s/d/n) carseat was in there. Connor came with me while everyone else went with Zoe. We were almost there everything that was needed for the picnic was in my trunk. Finally after a few minutes of driving I parked in a parking spot. I turned off the car and unbuckled myself, Connor helped me with the baby. I got out the car and locked it. Then I spotted the others they waved at us. Connor and I walked across the street and caught up with the others. Once we all placed our orders we sat down together and talked. I let (s/d/n) eat some of my ice cream. As I was feeding (S/D/N) I noticed that Jared and Alana taking a quick picture together. It was nice to see my brother happy. I smiled at the two. All of us finished our ice creams and headed out to the orchard. Evan helped me take out the stuff for our picnic. We found a spot under the tree and placed the blankets on the grass. I held the basket that held the food and put it on the blanket. Connor had (S/D/N) sit on his lap I sat next to Connor. All of us sat in a big circle and started to take the food out and started to eat. (S/D/N) was eating some snacks while walking around,"She's so big." Zoe said as (s/d/n) walked towards Evan and Zoe I nodded,"I know. Its honestly making me sad." I said while letting out a small laugh. Zoe smiled at me," I bet it is. Kids do grow up fast." She said I nodded with a smile. Connor wrapped his arm around my shoulder,"Guys let's take a picture!" Alana exclaimed we all agreed to take one. All of us huddled together (s/d/n) sat in between Connor and I. Alana started to count down and took the picture. Alana sent us the picture I looked at the picture on my phone. Alana was in the front with a big smile on her face with her arm stretched out so that way all of us fit into the frame. Jared was sitting behind her with a smile on his face. Evan and Zoe were sitting next to Alana on her right side. Zoe held her hand under Evan's chin and placed a kiss on his cheek. Evan being Evan had a red face while he made a small smile. Connor and I were in the back, (s/d/n) sat in between us, Connor made a small smile while looking into the camera. I sat on the side and had a huge smile on my face. Just looking at the picture made me super happy. I hope to have more days like this.
