Chapter 23

A Month Later

It's been a month since Jasper had asked me to marry him, and his family had burst into our house in the morning really excited while we were eating breakfast.

We found out that Jasper's family had already spilled the news around the pack members that they had bumped into that morning, making it a bit easier on me and Jasper I guess. Means we don't have to announce it in front of everyone.

But throughout the past month we have been planning out a wedding that will be held in the area of grass between the pack house and the Alpha's house obviously.

Me and the girls (Jasper's mother, sister, and Logan's mate) had been out dress shopping multiple times just to find the perfect dress. Jasper went on less shopping trips than I did, he said him and the boys went in one store and walked out with his suit payed for.

But we finally found one that both me and the girls thought was perfect for my figure.

Sorting out the rest of the wedding went quite quickly as the rest of the pack helped out as well to get everything in place the day before.

But right now I was in one of the spare bedrooms in mine and Jasper's house as it is the night before the wedding and his mother was adamant about not seeing each other till I was walking down the aisle.

So I'm lying in bed trying to sleep without the warmth of Jasper's body beside me... It took me a couple of hours to fall asleep, but I did in the end.

I woke up in the morning to people walking into the room talking.

"Claire, wake up. We only have a few hours to get you sorted before the wedding. We brought breakfast for you to eat before we get started", I slowly open my eyes and saw Jasper's mother and sister standing there looking down at me.

I sat up and started eating the food they brought in for me, and as I was eating I heard someone's voice inside my head.

'Morning beautiful, hope you had a good sleep as I know it can be hard for you to sleep when you're alone. Hope my mother and sister don't drive you too mad while you get ready. See you when you walk down the aisle to me later. Love you', then he was gone but not before I said 'I love you' back down the link to him. I was smiling like a goof ball and obviously they noticed and figured it out without me saying anything.

"He talked to you didn't he?", I looked up to them shocked and nodded my head slowly, they smiled at me.

"It's alright, looks like you're in a better mood now that you've heard his voice", I blushed and they chuckled at my reaction.

It was about 8 in the morning, and the wedding was at 11am, so we had about 3 hours to get ourselves ready. So we did.

By the time we were ready it was like 10:50am, and we had to wait for 10 minutes, but that went by surprisingly fast as the girls kept talking about random topics.

When there was a minute left before I would have to walk down the aisle we all walked down to the door where Leo was waiting for me.

We had all decided Leo would walk me down the aisle, as well my father couldn't and he probably wouldn't have anyway, but Leo agreed to do it.

"Are you ready?", I looked at him with a slightly nervous expression.

"As ready as I'll ever be I guess", he smiled and extended his arm which I looped my arm through his and held tight.

"Leo, whatever you do, please don't let me fall", his hand landed on mine for a moment in reassurance.

"Never Claire", and with that we could hear the music start playing not that far from the house. Jasper's sister and Logan's mate walked out the door first as they were my bridesmaids, then me and Leo walked out after them. Jasper's mother had already left to go join the rest of the guests that were waiting.
