The Abused Mate

Chapter 12

2 days later

We were all heading to school together, talking and laughing as we went. Jasper was holding my hand while Leo, Logan and his mate walked with us.

The weekend was great, me and Jasper spent the whole time hanging out with each other cuddling and watching movies. And sometimes Jasper couldn't keep his hands to himself, or it was the other way around. But in my defence it was my wolf's doing I swear, well for some of the times, other times it was just me...

When we got to school I noticed the girl with mossy green eyes looking at me with a smirk on her face... Why was she looking at me with that smirk? I didn't know her and frankly I didn't want to know her so I didn't walk over to her.

The whole day went better than the last time I went to school, I stayed with either Jasper or Leo the whole day. And when I went to the bathroom Jasper's sister made sure no one got to me either.

I didn't want to go to school today, but Jasper said they would be extra careful today and make sure nothing went wrong. And they did, so I was kinda glad I came to school today. People still whispered about me to other people but I didn't care, the only ones I talked to were Jasper, Leo, Logan, and Jasper's sister. 

When school finished we all went home and got changed out of our uniforms. Then we all thought it would be a good idea to have a movie night and snacks.

"So what movies should we watch Claire?", everyone looked at me and I tensed up. I've never really watched any movies... I never had any time to between doing all the chores of the pack, doing school work, and being a punching bag to pretty much everyone in the pack, my plate was always full.

Jasper grabbed my hand and squeezed a tiny bit and I was pulled out of my own thoughts to look at him.

"Is everything alright beautiful?", his tone of voice had a slight hint of worry woven into it.

"Umm, it's just... I haven't really watched any movies before. I never had any time to watch anything as I was always finishing off school work, doing chores around the pack house, or being...", I didn't need to finish my sentence as I felt Jasper beside me tense up. He knew exactly what I meant, and so did Leo and Logan, as they both went with Jasper when they saved me from dying.

"Sorry, that was a buzzkill I guess. How about you choose, I don't mind what we watch", everyone's face was shocked at what I said.

"Well then how about we start off with Tangled? It's a great family film", I nodded my head with a smile and snuggled into Jasper's side, he had his arm wrapped around me and I felt safe.

We finished watching Tangled and I honestly liked it, well I really like Maximus.

When Tangled was done so was dinner, so we got up and ate with everyone. When we finished dinner we went back to the lounge and started the next movie.

Next they put in Divergent, they told me there was 3 in the movie series. And I snuggled back into Jasper's side. The movie went for 2 hours and about 20 minutes, and when it was done I was almost falling asleep beside Jasper, but I watched all the way to the end of the movie which I was happy about.

"What about the other 2 in the series?", I spoke.

"We'll watch the other two tomorrow night. How's that sound?", Jasper's sister smiled at me, I nodded and smiled back.

We all got up and everyone else except me and Jasper walked up the stairs in the pack house. Me and Jasper walked to his house which was only like a 5-10 minute walk, it was nice to look at the stars while we walked.

When we got inside the house we went upstairs and into our bedroom to get changed, we got into bed and started dozing off when I wanted to go get a drink of water. Jasper was pretty much asleep before I got up.

When I was out of bed Jasper's hand grabbed my arm to stop me.

"Where are you going beautiful?", tiredness evident in his voice.

"Just going downstairs to get a drink of water before I go to bed. I'll be right back", his hand let go of my arm and I walked downstairs, Jasper was already asleep again before I closed the bedroom door.

I grabbed a glass and poured some water into it from the tap and decided that I would take a step outside to look at the stars while I drank my cup water.

I stepped outside and the slight chill in the air made me shiver for a moment. I looked up to the sky and looked at the stars, they were so much brighter out here in the forest area, it was nice.

I was sipping my water when someone came up behind me and put a cloth over my mouth and nose, someone else grabbed my arms to restrain me from struggling.

"Jas...", I tried mind linking Jasper but was cut off by the smell on this cloth, it was a weird smell. Before I could put my finger on what it was, I was out like a light.

Left in the hand of whoever these people were...

Just a short chapter this time. Thought I'd leave it here and let your imagination run wild. Who is it I wonder? you'll have to wait and see :)
