Chapter 21

Claire's Pov

When I woke up I saw Jasper was still lying in front of me sleeping for once in the few days of being back, and it was great to wake up beside him.

His face was peaceful while he slept and I always liked looking at him while he slept. I know that sounds really creepy and stalker-like, but I'm allowed to, I'm his mate.

"Morning beautiful, how long are you just going to lie there and look at me?", I blushed out of embarrassment because I was caught staring at him.

"Ummm", I didn't know what to say to that.

"You're so cute when you blush. If you're not careful, I'll see how far that blush goes", I sat up and moved over to the side of the bed before I slightly leaned back over to Jasper.

"Well I guess you'll never know", and before he could reply or even grab me I was off and in the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

I heard him groan on the other side of the door before I jumped into a shower. When I got out, I wrapped a towel around my body and walked back into the bedroom where I saw Jasper getting ready to leave.

"You're leaving already? We haven't even had breakfast yet", his facial expression changed to a sad expression and I hated to see that on his face, and it was because of what I said...

"I know beautiful, I'm sorry. But Leo just called and said he needed to see me about something, then I have to get stuck into getting some more work done. I promise, soon it'll all be finished and I'll be all yours again", he came over and hugged me, which I returned.

I sighed and pulled away shooing him.

"Well hurry up then, I like the sound of you being all mine again. I'm going to hold you to it by the way", he laughed at my comment. He bent down slightly and placed a kiss on my lips.

"I wouldn't dare break my promise to you", I smile, then he walked out the room and out the house to the pack house.

I got dressed, ate some breakfast, then cleaned up the house a bit. When I was finished it was just about 1pm and I thought I'd go see Jasper's sister and see if she would like to eat something.

I mind linked her and she was all for the idea, she said she was away from the house for a bit, but she would meet me at the pack house soon, so I should just head over there and get some food sorted. So I did.

When I got to the pack house I walked straight to the kitchen and found no one was in there right now so I decided to make food for both me and Jasper's sister.

I pulled my phone out and put it on the bench and played some music while I pulled out some bits and pieces and started making something delicious. When I was finished I was putting two plates on a table when Jasper's sister walked through the door.

Her eyes locked with mine and she headed straight over to me.

"You can start eating, I'm just going to clean up my mess", she sat down and looked at me.

"Did you cook this?", I nodded and smiled.

"You could've just asked someone to make you something to eat and someone would've jumped at the idea to make the Luna some food", I laughed.

"Why? When I can cook fine. I had a lot of practice cooking big meals. I wouldn't want to trouble someone with something so small as that", before she could reply I walked back into the kitchen and started cleaning up the mess I had made, putting away the things I had used.

It didn't take me long to clean up so before I knew I had gone back and joined Jasper's sister at the table we were sitting at.

She took one bite and her eyes went wide with shock, she looked up to me.
