It was finally the day of the sports festival. The entire class were in their P.E uniforms, all gathered in the 1-A prep room. You were sitting down on a chair, just trying to clear your mind before everything. You ran your fingers through your hair and stood up to stretch however a certain voice caught your attention.

"I will beat you" Todoroki said, looking directly at Izuku. Looking at it, the two seemed as if they were conversing before Todoroki's bold statement, which seemed to have gotten the attention of the class. Kirishima tried butting in however Todoroki coldly responded. "I don't really care. I'm not trying to be friends with anyone."

Izuku replied to him, stating that he wouldn't fall behind, accepting Todoroki's challenge.

To think of it, Todoroki had never really talked to anyone much, he was just regarded as the strongest in class, he didn't even talk to you or seem like he cared when you two were stuck together at the USJ.

Soon, it was time to go into the arena. You all walked as a class through the underpass , entering the main area, where the show was going to begin. As you entered, you looked around. Mr. Aizawa wasn't wrong.... This was a huge deal. There were several people watching, on the area itself and on the live TV. Pro heroes were watching too. You looked over the crowd to try and spot someone as you walked, however it really was hard to find anyone through the huge wave of crowds.

The other classes joined in, getting introduced one by one by Present Mic. When all the classes were there, he introduced the person who was going to do the Athlete's Oath, The R18 Hero: Midnight. She lived up to her title by merely looking at her hero costume. She announced Bakugou to do the Athlete's Oath, since apparently, he placed first in the hero course entrance exam.

He stood in front of the mic, on the mini stage. "Make no mistake about it. I'm gonna place first." he said. It seemed different from the usual athlete oaths.... He only agitated the other classes and make our class gape at him. Bakugou walked down the stage and Midnight began the first event. The obstacle course race.

Everyone was finally at the starting gate. Midnight had signaled the start, making everyone clustered all up in one area, trying to get past. You were luckily in between some of the people in the front and the middle, however everyone prying to get through made it difficult. You suddenly felt your feet freeze once you got through.

You looked up and saw Todoroki, running ahead, making sense to the ice that froze some people's feet. You furrowed your eyebrows and activated your quirk. Making the ce not cold, and you broke through it just like back at the USJ.

'Todoroki was serious about this from earlier. That means i should be too.'

You looked at your side and saw some other people who were able to avoid or get out of it, you decided to run faster.

When you ran, everyone suddenly stopped. You looked up and saw large robot machine things.

"It's the zero pointers from the entrance exam!"

"Seriously?! The hero course kids fought those?"

"There's too many. We can't get past"

"They fought these in the entrance exam huh" you muttered. You made a run for it, running directing into the wave of the machines.

"Y/n!" You heard Izuku yell.

You tried squeezing in past them. You activated your quirk, touching one of them. Making one collapse on the other, giving you some space.
