会う - Au - meet

You felt your breath hitch midway your thought may as you took a breath in, gaping in awe at the sight in front of you. Your jaw was slacked and mouth wide open in a smile. You managed to let out a breathless chuckle while turning around to your friends. You swore if it were possible, your excitement and anxiety would be enough to make you fly. "This place is huge!"

"I know right?!" Ochako's voice was just as filled with glee, if not more.

"The National Takoba Arena..." Midoriya murmured aloud. "We're really doing this in Takoba, huh?"

In front of you was Mineta quivering in fear and anxiety, "Still have no clue what the tests about... can we really earn our licenses?"

As per usual, it didn't take long for someone to shut him up, as Mr. Aizawa leaned forward towards him in a frightening action.

"Mineta," he took a firm halt in his words before going on. "It's not a matter of can. You will."

"R-r-r-r-r-r-right! Of course sir!" you wanted to laugh at his reaction but Mr. Aizawa turned towards the class.

"Listen up. Earn your provisional licenses by passing this test, and you won't be mere eggs anymore... but full-fledged hatchlings... reborn as semipros to fly. Show them your best."

His pep talks were never really anything farfetched from his usual monotone speeches but throughout the course of time you and the class had spend together with him, you'd come to understand his words and see them as encouragements.

"Hell yeah!"

"Now all together now... " Kirishima yelled. "Plus..." he trailed off, leading the cheer but mixed in, no, overcoming the combined voices of your class was a loud one that came from a boy who appeared from behind Kirishima,

"ULTRA!!!!!!!!"

You flinched at the sudden appearance of the buzzed, dark-haired male in a uniform. Just like his volume, he was quite large. It didn't take your full attention or an idiot to notice that the rest of your class was just as shocked by his presence. Behind the male followed a group of students in a similar-looking uniform.

A male student with purple hair side-swept to cover part of his face was the first to speak up in a sneering, firm tone. "It's bad manners to intrude on another group's huddle, Inasa."

The guy who interrupted your cheer, whom you presumed to be Inasa flinched. "Ah, you got me!"

You didn't know what to expect after he bent his body back but he also didn't give you enough time to process a guess as he inhaled and yelled. "I AM SO...."

"VERY-"

"SORRY!" He bowed down in a quick motion, his head touching the ground itself, shocking your class once again.

"Who's this whacked-out big ball of excitement?!"

"He's like Iida and Kirishima squared...."

Bakugou sneered. "U.A.'s in the east, Shiketsu's in the west."

"I've always wanted to try saying it! Plus ultra! It is truly an honor to compete alongside the fine students of U.A." Brushing off what you heard Bakugou mutter, you turned back to Inasa who rambled on more, the excitement in his tone still failing to cease. "I FREAKING LOVE U.A."

'Odd.' you thought to yourself. The irony of his last words still added to your confusion of the man himself. A student, nonetheless of a rival school, praising U.A. with such high regard.
