The exam was about to begin. Right after changing into your hero costumes, you, along with your class, were inside a room crowded with the rest o0f the other schools participating in the exam. A member of the hero's public safety commission was briefing the participants about the exam itself, instructions and rules.

"Anyways, if you'll all turn your attention to the screen, I'll explain the preliminary round," the man said wearily. With a small click of remote control, the projector blinked on to display a generic, gray-colored diagram of a person.

"For this first test, you will all need to pass individually;" he continued, "In a moment each of you will receive three metal discs. These will serve as your targets. You must place them onto a part of your body that is clearly accessible. They will adhere to themselves. Then you will enter the arena. Each of you will also receive six red balls. When one of these balls makes contact with a target, they will light up red. If all three of your targets are hit, you're out. The object of the game is simple- you pass by taking out two people. In order for a disqualified person to count as yours, you must be the one to hit the third target. This means you can steal points from other people by waiting until they have one target left and taking the point for yourself!"

"Which is why only the first hundred are to pass."

...

'what?'

The later statement sent the entire room into chaos, erupted reactions coming from one person and another of how absurd the passing rate was. 100 out of more than a thousand was far less than half.  "Yes, so we will be handing out the balls and targets once this place opens up." — "The exam will begin a minute after all examinees are fully equipped."

Next to you was Todoroki who you heard a murmur from, "open?"

Just as if on cue to his repeated inquiry, the ceiling began to part shakily as it came down with the walls, revealing a large terrain. "With every type of landscape available, you all should be able to find areas suited to you. Make sure to best use your talents."

A few people whom you presumed to be volunteers and employees began walking to each student, handing each of the three targets and assisting them on placing on the costume and handing the balls. Once the cue that everyone was able to spread out, the room began to clear as you and your class concurrently with the other schools, ran to pass the exam.

"Everyone!" Midoriya called out, "Make sure to stay together and move as a group!"

"Right!" A few people chorused but Bakugou scoffed, running the other direction. "Yeah right, this isn't some field trip!"

"Idiot, wait up!" Kirishima called him back but ended up running after him.

"I'll be going on my own as well." Todoroki walked away from the group, "It's difficult for me to use my quirk in a large group."

"Todoroki!" Midoriya tried to tell but Mineta reasoned with him hence the green-haired male nodded instead.

Following Midoriya's heed, the class continued running. "Because well... Everyone here already knows what our quirks are!"

"How could they..."

"The sports festival!"

"This is gonna turn into a battle between schools, I'm sure of it. Which means the next step is picking a school to target." Midoriya continued. "Ours is the most logical choice."
