BACK TO EVAN'S POV:

Igripped onto Connor's back. The rain and fog was starting to clear up, but It was getting pretty late. And to my surprise, Connor didn't let go. This wasn't like Connor. Something felt off.

He pulled away from me, still crying, and looked right at me.

"I'm sorry Evan. I shouldn't be like this. I don't know what's wrong with me."

"Connor - nothing is wrong with you. Let's go home. You can stay over at my place if you want - it's a weekend and it's getting pretty late." I responded. "My mom might not be home yet though. Just call your parents and tell them... you know, if you want to."

I saw Connor crying even more now. Oh no, Does he not want to? This whole thing was a stupid idea, why am I-

"I'm sorry Evan. I would love to. It's just that nobody's ever invited me to do anything before. Cause everybody just hates me." Connor said

"It's fine Connor. I don't hate you." I reassured him. "Cmon', lets just go to my place. You can have dinner, maybe stay the night."

"Thank you, Evan."
