3D PERSON POV:
Evan was exited - this was his first time ever having somebody over, the first time having a movie night with somebody, and the first time there was somebody he could call his friend - maybe. He didn't want to push Connor around or anything. Even though Connor used to literally shove him into walls, that was different. Evan wanted to make the perfect impression around him. Why? Because he wanted to be his friend... right? Just a good friend. Of course Evan had always had Jared, but Jared was a family friend. According to him, that was a whole different story. Jared had always picked on Evan, but Evan was sure it was just a thing that friends did. He hoped.

Thinking about Jared, (or anybody else for that matter) was useless at the moment. Evan was overthinking. He looked through YouTube to find the movie, and then loaded the computer screen onto the TV. Evan didn't think much about the movie itself, and almost ignored the fact that it was a horror movie. Evan HATED horror movies, and it never quite hit him that he had been thinking so much about Connor, he didn't realize that he had said yes to watching "The Prodigy". He had only ever seen the trailer once, and whenever he saw a trailer for a movie like that, he always scrolled down until the commercial was over. How was he supposed to watch the entire movie?

Well, at least he had somebody to watch it with. Would that help?

"I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get some popcorn. Y'know, i-if you want." Evan told Connor, who was leaning comfortably on a beanbag chair.

"Thanks. Want me to pause the movie?" Connor responded, already reaching toward the remote.

"N-nonono, its fine, hah, I'll be quick!!" Evan assured him. He didn't want Connor to think he was scared or anything. That would leave a bad impression. Again, that was the last thing that he wanted.

While Evan went to get the snacks, Connor was watching the movie carefully. He had been waiting to watch this for what felt like forever. (Forever meaning a few minutes ago, when he pulled out his phone and looked up "movies".) Before all of this, he didn't know Evan. Yeah, he was a jerk to him. A lot. But he had never actually gotten to know him that well, at all. It would ruin his "tough guy" image, and he didn't want to have to do with anyone or anything. Why? Because he didn't want to have to trust somebody only for them to leave him. That's what made him too paranoid to try to be nice to anybody. Deep down inside, he was insecure about what Evan had thought of him. He felt like Evan might have hated him. The reality was, when they both got to know each-other, something clicked inside of Connor. He just couldn't realize what. It was like that for Evan too, but Evan thought he was just imagining it.

What was it though? What could it have been?

A few minutes passed, and Evan came back with a big bowl of popcorn and two glasses of water. Connor wasn't even paying attention to the movie, so he quickly noticed when he came in with the food. Connor smiled at Evan, as he sat right next to Connor, leaning on the beanbag chair and put down the popcorn in between them, setting the water on the table next to them.

"Sorry if t-this is too much" Evan chuckled. "Hah. Too much? I could take this down in a second." Connor responded jokingly, and laughed along with him.

The next 10 minutes they were silent, focusing on the television. The movie was going well, and both of them started to actually pay attention to it. Evan was starting to get nervous. He was getting scared by the movie, but he didn't want to admit it. So he just sat there, uneasy. Connor soon noticed that Evan was uncomfortable, so he moved a bit closer to him and hung his arm over Evan's shoulder. Evan felt a bit more relaxed now. Maybe watching a Horror movie with a friend... would be better? Evan felt happy saying that to himself in his head. Connor was his friend. But for some reason, they both felt different about each other, in the same way. It definitely was not a bad thing though. The movie continued playing, but Evan had lost focus again. He was just staring at Connor, who's eyes were still on the screen.

EVAN'S POV: **this part is short!!!**

Connor was still watching the screen, actually focusing on what was going on. Me on the other hand? I was just staring at Connor. Don't get me wrong, I know that's a creepy thing for me to say, but god - he's so beautiful. His eyes were bright blue with a patch of brown on the right. His long dark hair was flowing down his back and - No! I can't be thinking this way. I shouldn't be. I might not be straight like I thought I was after all. But I can't let him know that I think of him like this! He would probably hate me forever. Besides, he's probably straight. I think. He probably is.

BACK TO NORMAL POV:

Connor was loving the movie so far. He turned his head to ask Evan what he thought of it, and noticed that Evan had been looking at him the whole time. They looked each other in the eye for a minute.

"AGH SORRY CONNOR SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO LOOK WEIRD O-OR A-ANYTHING I JUST-" Evan started to say, panicked

"Shhhh. Its okay. You don't have to be sorry! Your eyes are gorgeous anyways." Connor responded, not thinking.

"I - uh... what? Y-you really think... you really t-think so?? Sorry I sound so stupid never-"

"Of course Evan." Connor told him.

"I- um.. t-thanks C-connor. You look pretty also. I - I MEAN'T I LIKE YOU TOO. NONONONO I MEANT I LIKE YOUR EYES TOO. SORRY THAT CAME OUT WRONG" Evan tried to tell Connor without sound nervous.

"Huh. Strange, Hansen. I thought you might have liked me back" Connor said, giggling.

Wait... is he joking or is he serious??? He's probably joking, right? Yeah. He laughed. I think he's joking. Evan thought to himself.
