In Love With A Celebrity

Ch. 6

1 Week Later:

"Hey, Leah. You ready for the next scene? It's kinda weird."

I spin my body around and look at the big, bulky, yet incredibly kind, Zach,

"Hi, Zach!" I give him a big hug which he accepts, "Yes, I'm ready! I can't believe I'm really doing this!" 

I'm so thankful for how quickly everyone in the cast got to know each other so well! Zach is like the older sibling I never had, a brother I never knew I wanted!

"Woah, save that energy for Elijah!" He winks.

I blush insanely for a few seconds,

"Zach! You know Elijah and my relationship is strictly professional!" I say, though I can't help but smile.

If anybody knew that I was actually freaking out about acting with Elijah, it would be the end of me!

"Yeah, the way you two look at each other is sooo professional!" Zach says, playfully punching my shoulder.

I roll my eyes,

"It's called actiiinnnnggg..."

Elijah turns the corner and shows off his navy blue suit he's wearing. He has a bit of foundation on to 'look more natural' or whatever his makeup person said. Our 'big scene' is the cliche scene that every high-school romance needs- A Dance! In the movie I get asked by Liam (played by Zachary) because Toby (Elijah) got sent to detention and was banned from going, but right now, Toby had snuck out just to have one dance with Edith (me). 

It's pretty cute, if I do say so myself. I haven't gotten my dress or makeup yet, but just by looking at Elijah makes me wish I could be half as stunning as that when I wear my outfit. That sounds really self-centred but I never get to feel beautiful, especially to somebody like Elijah.

"Leah, please, close your mouth. You're drooling!" Zach says, waving a hand in front of my face.

I close my mouth and look up at Zach,

"Pretend we're talking!" I plead.

Zach laughs before nodding,

"So... Watermelons... Am I right?" He says putting a finger on his chin, thoughtfully.

I chuckle,

"Yes, completely such strange fruit. I once choked on a watermelon seed!" I responded, seriously.

Then we stare at each other silently... Before I start bellowing with laughter. Laughing at my own stupidity and awkwardness. Zach chuckles with me as well.

"Am I interrupting something?" 

I jump at the sound of Elijah's voice. I look up at Zach and he smiles,

"Not at all, we were just speaking about watermelons." He replies.

I nod, enthusiastically. I look up at Elijah and grin,

"Weird fruits, they are." 

Elijah smirks,

"You're the weird one, Heart. C'mon, Karen wants you." He nudges me towards our room and I skip away from Zach,

"You won't even recognise me when I come out of the room!" I yell at Zachary.

He laughs,

"That'll be fun. I'm gonna go check up on Katie. Haven't seen her in a while."

Elijah shares a look between Zach and I,

"You two have become close, haven't ya?" He says smiling roughly.
