Katie P.O.V

3 days later:

"Elijah! You little devil, don't ignore me!" I yell.

I wanted to talk to Elijah about Leah and her problem with the press, but he seemed too intrigued with a stray thread on his shirt to notice anything I was saying. Elijah looked at me slowly,

"I don't know what to do, Katie. She's terrified of going out in public now! I can't help but feel it was my fault." His lip trembles as he talks and it looks like he might start crying at any moment.

"Oh, I didn't know you felt like that!" I say standing up from the cafe table we were sitting at.

A few people were staring and some were taking pictures. I hesitate at my position, then I quickly sit back down,

"I was going to hug you, or at least attempt comforting you but I'm scared any contact between us might result in some rumours... and I don't need that!" I shake my head.

Elijah gives a small smirk,

"Yeah, on that note. What are we gonna do about, Heart?"

I stare at Elijah, concentrating.

As I continue thinking about Leah, I get strangely emotional,

"C'mon, we're going to her house!" I demand and shove away from the table with a force that made my chair fall.

Elijah's eyes sparkle,

"Do you know where she lives?"

I nod my head,

"She gave it to me so I could mail her the package with her shoes in it." I smile at the memory. "Now, lets go! Before I start balling into tears!" I walk over to the door and glare at the people watching, they quickly look down and pretend not to notice as Elijah and I slip by.

He helps me into the car and orders his driver to go to Leah's address. He grunts in response and we go off, crowds of people yelling and chasing after us.

"Jeez, that must be annoying." I say to Elijah.

He nods his head,

"You have no idea."

Elijah's P.O.V:

I basically run to Leah's front door. I need to see her, we've been away for a few days and I already miss her so much. Her beautiful full smile, her mesmerising grey and blue eyes, her light brown hair with strips of gold. I find myself noticing pieces of her everywhere. Like I saw a girl who was about the same height as her, and a girl with hair the same colour, yet not as silky looking. I see her everywhere! And, each time, it hurts me more than the last.

I knock on the door forcefully,

"Leah Heart, you open this door before I bust it down!"

Katie grabs my wrist,

"Are you ridiculous!? Her parents could be in there thinking your about to mug her or something worse!"

I rolled my eyes at her, does she really think I care at the moment,

"I. Just. Need. To. See. Her." I said slowly, breathing with caution.

Suddenly the door opens and I see Leah,

"Oh my god." I let out a sigh in relief, before grabbing her into a hug with Katie and I.

She laughs into my shoulder,

"I missed you guys." She said as she pulls away.

Katie looks at me and then at Leah,

"I'd love to say I missed you the most... But in his case, that's probably not true." She chuckles.
