Two days. Two whole days and Renjun had barely uttered a word to Jeno. At the dinner table Renjun would keep his eyes elsewhere and would only answer to Jeno's mother. He had started refusing rides to school and got his bike fixed.

Jeno had no idea what he had done wrong. Had he gone too far? Did he do something Renjun wasn't comfortable with? Jeno remembers asking him if he wanted it and he was sure Renjun had said yes, but with the way the elder was acting he was beginning to doubt himself.

He'd tried some harmless flirting when they passed one another but Renjun would only politely excuse himself and walk straight past him.

Was it wrong that Jeno kind of missed him? He missed their flirty comments and he missed seeing Renjun's flushed cheeks. He even missed their fifteen minute car journey to school every morning.

Renjun had also taken on more hours at work which meant he got home even later, usually after Jeno had gone to bed but Jeno waits up in his room. He listens for the front door opening and closing, the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs. He waits until he knew for sure Renjun had got home safely before turning off his light and drifting off to sleep.

And that is exactly what he was doing.

Jeno checks the time on his phone. 11:30 pm. Renjun is usually back at 11:15. He was late.

A bright light flashes through the room before the sound of thunder rumbles afterwards. The thunderstorm had been going on for hours and Jeno knew it didn't show any signs of stopping. The thought of Renjun having to cycle through the heavy rain worried him a little. He would catch a cold for sure.

It's not that he cared a lot about Renjun but they were sort of friends at least. Well that's what Jeno had thought.

The boy waits a few more minutes until the clock hits midnight. That was it.

Jeno throws his bed covers off his body and grabs a jacket before running downstairs. He pulls on a pair of shoes and leaves the house, running through the rain and towards his car.

Was he seriously going to look for a boy that was ignoring him? Yup he was.

He starts the car and drives slowly, squinting his eyes slightly each time he passed someone on the sidewalk, making sure it wasn't Renjun. Each flash of lightening and roar of thunder meant the rain got heavier, making it even more difficult for Jeno to see out of the windows.

After driving around for fifteen minutes he finally gets to the cafe he knew Renjun worked at and there he was.
The blonde wore only a hoodie and was stood outside of the shop, his bike by his side.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jeno shouts after rolling down the window. Renjun jumps a little at the voice but relaxes when seeing who it was.

"I'm trying to fix my bike" the boy yells back, he was completely drenched, his clothes dripping and his hair looking almost brown in the dim lighting.

"Get in" Jeno demands, getting out of the car and taking he bike from Renjun's hands. The elder looked a little reluctant but Jeno only repeats himself, a little sterner this time "get in"

With a huff of annoyance Renjun walks around the other side of the car and hops in whilst Jeno throws the bike into the backseat. Once both were in the car the silence settles. The only noise coming from the thunder and the patter of rain on the roof.
It was strange how renjun had only just had his bike fixed yet it had broke again. Actually, knowing Renjun the blonde probably fixed it himself which is why it had broke on him.

"Are we just gonna sit here or are you going to go home?" Renjun asks, annoyance evident in his tone. His eyes stayed glued to his window and he didn't look over at Jeno once.

Jeno was about to start the engine but noticed Renjun shivering. His eyes glance at his turned away face before he reaches over and switches on the heating. He pulls off his jacket and hold it out for the elder to take. "Here take this your shivering"

"I'm fine"

"Just take it Renjun!"
Jeno was a pretty patient guy but when he was genuinely trying to help someone and they treat him like dirt he can't help but yell a little.

Renjun eyes the jacket before taking it and wrapping it around himself, secretly thankful for the warmth.

"Can I ask you something?" Jeno asks, his own eyes focused on the damp road in front of him, the odd flash of lightning making his soft and handsome features stand out.
Renjun only nods.
"Have I upset you?"

The question hung in the air for a moment before Renjun let's out a sigh. "No"

"Then why won't you talk to me? You've been ignoring me ever since we- you know" any other time Jeno would have no problem with saying the word fucked but right now just didn't seem like the right time for such a word. "I'm sorry if it's not what you wanted, I would have stopped if you'd asked you know?" He mutters the last part and starts the engine, driving off in the heavy rain.

Renjun was quiet for a while and honestly Jeno didn't expect him to say anything but he felt like he needed to get that off his chest. But to his surprise he sees the elder shuffle around in his seat, looking over towards Jeno.

"I'm sorry. You didn't upset me or anything it's just..." he trails off, looking down at his hands "...t-that was my first time and I guess I'd had these amazing expectations about how it would be" he sighs and Jeno felt a pang of guilt.

"You were a virgin? Then why the heck do you have a box full of kinky shit?" Jeno looked more amused than angry and Renjun's cheeks flush.

"It was a joke! My friends got me it as a goodbye present as a joke. But obviously you're a nosy bastard and went through my stuff" he huffs, crossing his arms over his chest. As mad as he wanted to be he couldn't help but smile a little when he hears Jeno laugh.

"Wait, so it was a joke? So why do you let me use them on you?" He asks through his laughter and Renjun felt like he was going to die of embarrassment.

"Because I'm a horny shit okay! I've never done any of that kind of stuff before but I'm a teenage boy and I get horny!" He was yelling but it only made Jeno laugh even more "and you're pretty hot so..."

Finally Jeno lets his laughter die down before glancing over at Renjun "Well I already know you think I'm hot. I may be focusing on the road but I can see you staring at my wet shirt"

And sure enough Renjun's gaze was fixed on the white see through fabric stuck to Jeno's toned stomach. "...shut up"
