"Let me get this straight" Sicheng says as he hands over a coffee to a customer "he was a dick to you but now he's acting like nothing ever happened?"
Renjun nods and leans against the counter, thankfully the cafe wasn't busy meaning they could actually have a conversation. He was filling Sicheng in on why he had decided to stay at Jeno's house instead of coming so stay with him like he had said. "Yup, I feel kinda stupid though, like I'm walking right into some sort of trap" he sighs "am I an idiot?"
Sicheng laughs and shakes his head "no you're not, who knows, maybe he was the one that's an idiot"
This causes the younger to laugh "yeah I already knew that" he decide to busy himself and clean out one of the machines to save Sicheng having to do it later.
"No what I mean is, maybe he had one of those moments where you don't realise how much you care about something until it's gone" he explains but this only causes Renjun to laugh even more. It was very obvious that Sicheng had never met Jeno.
"Jeno only cares about himself" he mutters. It's true, the most selfless thing Jeno has ever done is come looking for him when it was a thunder storm, and then pay for his bike to get fixed. Or did he do that because he cared? Renjun had so many thoughts swimming around his head he was going to end up giving himself a headache.
"Well I mean if he truly means it I guess you'll find out, just give him a chance" the elder says and Renjun only nods in agreement. Maybe Sicheng was right.

Once Renjun had finished his shift at the coffee shop he grabs his bag and hops on his bike. Since he had no lessons that morning, he worked until he actually had to go to class. This also meant he got to avoid another awkward car ride with Jeno.
Besides, he likes riding his bike, he found it relaxing in a way.The school wasn't far, it took around ten minutes to get there from the cafe. He locks up the bike before wandering off into the school building and climbing the stairs up to his classroom. There was still a few minutes till class started but Renjun decided he would spend the time reading over his essay, making sure everything was perfect before handing it in.
A few more students began entering the classroom, taking their seats."Shit" he hears someone mutter from beside him. Curiosity getting the better of him he looks up from his work and glances at the boy at the desk beside his, rummaging through his bag.
They had never spoken before but he looked pretty frustrated and Renjun would look like a bad person if he didn't ask "Are you okay?"
The boy looks up, his dark brown hair falling over his eyes but he quickly pushes it back. "I forgot my notes" he says, his focus going back to his bag, double checking.
"I'd offer to share mine with you but they're all in Chinese" Renjun says a little guiltily. Although he was confident speaking in Korean, he struggled more when it came to reading and writing.
"Chinese?" The boy says and Renjun nods "I'm Chinese" he says and this seems to grab the blondes attention.
"You are?" He asks a little shocked. He'd been sat next to someone that speaks his first language all this time and he didn't know about it. "Then I guess you can share them" he says with a smile.
"Are you sure you don't mind?" The boy asks and Renjun quickly shakes his head before shuffling his desk a little closer "thank you so much."
Renjun only waves him off "no problem".
"Oh I'm YangYang by the way" The boy holds his hand out and the elder takes it, shaking it.
"I'm Renjun". He introduces but before he could say anything else the teacher walks in and the class quietens down.
