✿*｡ Nineteen ｡*✿

Jeno's mother places dinner onto the table and both boys thank her. Jeno slumped back in his seat, picking up his chopsticks and moving the noodles around in the bowl but not actually eating them, his mind was focusing on something else and his appetite was lost. Jeno wasn't usually the type of person to get nerves, but when it came to something he had so much passion for he just couldn't help it.

Obviously both Renjun and Jeno's mother noticed this since it was so out of character for Jeno.
"Is everything alright?" His mother questions, placing her own chopsticks back down and focusing her attention onto her son, deeming him much more important.

Jeno nods slowly and sends her a small reassuring smile. "I'm fine just a little conflicted is all" he admits, finally picking up some of his food and taking a bite.

"Conflicted? What for?" She asks, going back to eating her own food since Jeno was finally munching on his.
Renjun sat and watched, slightly intrigued to know what had gotten such a confident guy like Jeno all worked up.

"I can't decide whether or not to audition for the school performance" he finally says and Renjun tries to hide his shocked expression. He still couldn't wrap his head around the fact Jeno was a drama student. He just didn't seem the type to enjoy theatre.

"Well I think you should go for it, you love acting and Renjun seems to be helping you a lot with learning your lines, maybe if you get a part in the play you two can bond a little more" Mrs Lee says and Renjun almost chokes.

The Chinese male looks up at Jeno who seemed to have a satisfied grin on his face. It's not like Jeno needed an excuse to be with Renjun. The guy seemed to stroll into his room whenever it pleases him.

"You know what" Jeno turns and smiles at his mother "you're right, I'm gonna audition" he says and Renjun rolls his eyes.

"Renjun honey you wouldn't mind helping Jeno learn his lines like you did the other night?" She asks and Renjun sees Jeno look down in an attempt to hide his smile.

The other night? Oh yeah the night Jeno had come into his room and insisted they try out the sex toys. Yup that sounds right.

Renjun slapped a smile onto his face and nodded "of course I'll help Jeno learn his lines, he's been helping me out a lot lately so it's the least I can do" he admits and Jeno raises a brow.

Well it wasn't a complete lie. Jeno had been helping him out, not exactly in the way Mrs Lee would expect but she didn't need to know that.

They eat the rest of dinner in silence until Jeno says he's going up to his room to take a nap. Renjun hears Mrs Lee sigh a little at her sons behaviour and it made Renjun think of his own mother. He missed her a lot.

"Would you like a hand with the dishes?" He offers but Mrs Lee shakes her head and sends him a thankful smile.

"Thank you but I'll be fine on my own, you go upstairs and do your college work, I'm sure you've got a lot to do" she gives his arm a small squeeze and clears up the dishes before placing them into the sink.

If Renjun was being honest he didn't have that much work to do. He had finished his essay and all his homework was done. It was a miracle that he could get any work done in this house with Jeno around but somehow he managed.

Although Mrs Lee insisted she needed no help, Renjun picks up all of the empty glasses off the table and brings them over to her to save her going back and forth. She says a quick thank you before practically sending Renjun upstairs when he tries to help a little more.

The blonde finally gives in and wanders off up the stair case, turning and beginning to walk down the landing towards his room. He didn't get far though as he hears a door open and he's dragged inside. Before he even knew what was happening his whole back was slammed against a wall, his body being held in place by a strong pair of hands.

"Ouch! Jeno what the fuck!"

Jeno shushes him and lets go of one of his wrists only so he could reach over and turn the lock on the door. "So I've been helping you out a lot lately?" He raises a brow and smirks.

Renjun blushes slightly as he remembers what he had said "well I mean-"

"I think it's time you return the favour baby boy..."

A/N: so this is unrelated to the story but it's to do with another story I'm working on and I want to get your opinion on it.
