Renjun looks himself over in the mirror. He couldn't seem to understand why he didn't own any nice clothes. Not one piece of clothing he had looked good enough for a date. His room was a complete mess, pretty much everything in his closet had been tried on and the tossed onto the bed.

He wore a pair of black skinny jeans, a white dress shirt paired with a denim jacket. It looked smart yet at the same time Renjun just didn't like the way he looked. Even worse, he'd woken up to his hair having a slight wave to it thanks to the way he had slept. Everything about him just looked wrong. He didn't like the fact that the jacket seemed to slip of his narrow shoulders, or the way the sleeves came past his hands.

An idea comes to mind but at the same time he wasn't too sure it was a good one. He glances back over at his reflection and that was all it took for him to swing open the bedroom door and storm down the hall to Jeno's room. Before knocking he rethinks his idea. Was it worth disturbing Jeno for?

Jeno hadn't spoken to Renjun once since he had moved back in, however, he left small notes for the elder to find around the house, each one having a small sweet message written on them. Renjun had kept every single one. He had come to the conclusion that Jeno wasn't mad at him and he was simply just respecting what Renjun had asked of him.

Without wasting another moment, he raises his fist and knocks twice, waiting patiently for the door to open.

The handle turns and the door opens to reveal a tired looking Jeno. It didn't look like he had just woken up like last time, it looked more like he hadn't had a decent nights sleep in days. "Renjun?"
He looked a little shocked to see the blonde stood at his bedroom door, dressed up nicely, his hair messily styled (the way Jeno preferred).

"I need your opinion" Renjun says, stepping back a little so Jeno could see him better "do I look as bad as I think I look?" He asks, trying to pull the sleeves of the jacket up a little.

Jeno looked a little confused but he shakes his head "you look fine, why? Are you going somewhere?"

Renjun contemplates whether or not he should tell Jeno about the date. After all jeno should be glad that he was at least trying to get over him.
"I have a date, but I look ugly in everything" he sighs, sliding his back down the wall and sitting down on the floor outside of Jeno's bedroom. He knew he was being over dramatic, but when wasn't he?

Renjun buries his face in his hands, not wanting to look up at Jeno. He was waiting for Jeno to shut his bedroom door and leave him alone but to his surprise he feels a body sit down beside him, and a gentle hand rest against his shoulder. The touch made his heart flutter a little and it suddenly became a little more difficult to breathe.

"Renjun you're not ugly" his voice was soft and brought a small amount of comfort to Renjun. He slowly lifts his head to look at Jeno.

"I feel like I am" he mutters "I'm too small and skinny, nothing fits me right,I have the physique of a child"
Something changes in Jeno's expression but the blonde chooses to ignore it. "It's easy for you to say I'm not ugly, but you don't know how it feels to think no one finds you attractive, everyone finds you attractive...even me" he mutters the last part with a slight bitterness. If only he had Jeno's broad shoulders, sharp jawline and gorgeous features.

Just as he was about to stand up and walk away, Jeno grabs his arm and pulls him back down.

"You need to stop thinking that people don't find you attractive" Jeno says and Renjun involuntarily holds his breath "you're going on a date so someone obviously thinks you're attractive"
And just like that the moment was ruined.

"Thanks" Renjun mumbles with a slight eye roll, standing and wandering back towards his room.

"No wait! That's not what I meant. I meant that-"

"Jeno don't worry about it" Renjun offers him a genuine smile before entering the guest room and closing the door. He wasn't mad at Jeno, he was bored of being mad at him. In a way, Jeno's lousy attempt at comforting him had cheered Renjun up and left a weird feeling in his stomach.

He glances at the clock and his eyes widen. He'd spent so much time moping around that he hadn't realised what time it was. Quickly he grabs his phone from under the pile of clothes on his bed and sprints down the stairs.

He didn't even care if he looked bad now, all he cared about was not being late.
