PLEASE READ CAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT:

So I recently received a private message from someone (not going to give names because they didn't do anything wrong at all) addressing me about how they felt uncomfortable after reading my last chapter. After reading this message, I realised that others could possibly think differently to what I thought when I wrote it. My intentions were to post about Sean in memory of him but that meant that this book took a dark turn. I'm so so sorry for anyone who was upset after reading the chapter and I'm telling you now that this chapter is the last super depressing one :)

To say that Sean was fighting the cancer was an understatement, he was doing everything in his power to demolish it by going out, spending time with his family, taking medication, the man was a true warrior.

We decided to take a trip to the lake since it was a Saturday afternoon, hoping to catch some delicious fish for dinner.

Lisa and Grayson lay on a blanket on the emerald green sheet of grass nearby as Sean, Ethan, Cameron and I were attempting to get food.

"I've got one!" Ethan shouted as he gripped the fishing rod tight, using all of his might to pull the fish out of the body of water.

Sean leaned closer towards Ethan in his chair, still keeping his rod in a strong grasp. "Come on, E!" He cheered him on which gave Ethan a slight push, causing one to fly out and land on the ground in front of him.

"I got it, I got it." Ethan chanted as he danced around the grass in his bare feet, kicking the heels together every once in a while during a leap.

"It's so cute." Cameron awed at the tiny fish that Ethan tried so hard to catch.

"It was strong, ok."

I could hear Lisa and Grayson giggle nearby, causing Ethan to send them both a death glare.

"Well I think it's a great catch, son." Sean stated, bringing his son into a quick hug without getting out of his chair.

"Thanks dad." Ethan mumbled into his shirt before returning to fishing, standing next to me. (Ngl that reminds me about the vine with the kid doing whips in the mirror "Look son, your whips are getting better" "Thanks dad". Just me?)

My eyes couldn't leave Sean as I noticed a fake smile displayed, something was up.

"Gray, could you take my spot for a minute." I yelled behind me, quickly hearing footsteps rushing towards me before arms wrapped around my waist.

"Sure thing, gorgeous." He answered before kissing my cheek, taking the fishing rod out of my grip.

My feet carried me closer to the man in the chair who wasn't too far away, crouching right next to him once I was close enough. "You alright, Sean?"

We made eye contact, slightly taking Sean by surprise. "Of course y/n, why wouldn't I be?"

I tried not to be too rude and ruin the happy moment for him, thinking about my words before replying. "I don't know, you just don't normally seem this quiet."

A sigh left Sean as he put down the fishing rod, suddenly placing his hands in mine which caused my eyes to widen due to the sudden action. "I'm just thinking, that's all y/n."

"About what, if I may ask."

"About the future." He responded, his smile becoming faker by the second. Sean was trying to stay positive.

"Well let's not think about that for a moment." I stated, kneeling next to him as our hands were still connected. "Gray told me that you used to take him here every week."
