I know, this story takes forever to update, but remember that it takes a long time to write! You guys want quality right?? lol. Here you go! And a helpful map of this world has been posted on my FB fanpage if you all want to go and check it out. It helps to reference where everything is, so I keep that map handy for myself.
Also, the song to the side, I just feel that if Magical/Mystical were to be a movie, this would fit a trailer for it PERFECTLY! Just saying, lol

After supper, Septa came over and asked me to take a walk with him. I nodded, glad to get away from all these other dragons. They still made me nervous. This entire place made me nervous to be honest. Caius gave a nod and Alume said he’d stay with Caius. He said it was better if none of us were left alone and I agreed. I didn’t like this place. I knew dragons were not the threat, but I still didn’t trust them.
I followed Septa outside and we walked along the rocks of the shore. The ocean thrashed against them, and I took in the smell of the ocean feeling a smile spread across my lips. It reminded me of home. Then I realized, being here made it seem like that life was so far away now. That wasn’t really home anymore. I could see now that I probably could never go back, even if I did survive. It wouldn’t feel like home anymore, and this is where my family was.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked me and I let out a relieved sigh. Septa’s rumbling voice always calmed me, and I didn’t feel as nervous when I knew he was behind me, supporting me.
“The fact that I’m never going back. Home that is. Back to my world. I don’t feel like I would belong there anymore.”
“I see. You would want to remain here with us? That surprises me.”
“Why?”
“Well, I thought you missed your world.” I considered that for a moment and shrugged.
“Yeah, I suppose. I mean, it’s more familiar to me than this world. It’s where I grew up. But to be completely honest, I can’t see myself feeling at home there anymore. This feels more like home. You feel more like family than my mother ever has. I can’t go back there. I won’t.”
“I see you’ve made your decision.” I couldn’t help but hear a little amusement in his voice. “I am honored that you think of me as family, Carina. I feel the same about you. If I were to ever have a little one, I would think she would have just as much fire as you.”
“Fire?” I laughed. “I’m not a dragon Septa, I don’t breathe fire. What nonsense are you talking about?”
“You have an energy within you, Carina. It isn’t just your power, it’s something that pushes you. It’s a spark that drives you to keep going, no matter how difficult the path may seem. Not many people, even magic users of this world, would meet this challenge as you have. You are special Carina, and I believe you can truly save us.”
“Really?” I felt a lightness and a fluttering in my stomach. I never realized Septa thought that well of me.
“Of course. I am confident that you will succeed.” He turned his large serious orbs to me and I could tell the tone had changed. “But why do I feel that you don’t have confidence in your fate? I feel you may be resigned to a fate that has not yet been written, Carina.”
“What do you mean?” I asked him, already knowing the answer.
“You do not think you will survive this journey, Carina. I can tell. You cannot think that way though. Do not surrender to that feeling. It will only lead to disaster.”
