DEAD-HOPE

Astrid looked at her feet "I never did die" Astrid then sighed "That leaves me to confess something but I want to do it with Heather and everyone else listening" Astrid said and Hiccup nodded and left to get everyone. Heather soon came in and Astrid pulled her aside into the other room  immediately and they spoke for a while. 

Fishlegs came in and sat next to Ingrid and Dagur next to Stoick. Hiccup and Jack were sitting to the right side of the room and Elsa and Sven to the left side of the room. Heather and Astrid then walked out. Astrid glance at Heather before she began "I never did die. As a child, a man in a black tuxedo and sun glasses approached me and told me that someone was trying to torture me and is going to kill you- mom,dad, Hiccup and Stoick. And I being a foolish kid believed him. He told me if I pretended to die and came with them you guys would be safe and so would I. They told me they'd teach me how to fight and train me and I..I believed them. I listened to them. And I agreed to come with them. They kept approaching me, talking about the plan and how to fake my death. And one day it all can to play and I did it, I faked my death and went along with them. They then took me to where many other kids were being kept. It was some kind of hostel or something. Before they could train me they sent me to this machine for three days in a row which made me forget most things about my life before, although I did still remember a lot. But what got me completely to their side was a lady who kept informing me about everything and slowly as the days went by she kept telling me things like how all of you died tragically and she then helped me through that stage of freaking and helped me chanel out my anger about your death. They made me concentrate so much on that anger that I forgot about everything and swore to protect people's life alongside my fellow mates of that company. They basically brainwashed me. I knew nothing about the world outside the organisation and I was made to believe that everything they did was right. Heather however didn't, by breaking their rules and researching stuff other than what she was allowed to when she was on a mission. And she was against them since then but I believed and stayed and now that I remember I don't know if anything I did for them was right." Astrid said looking at the floor guilt slipping over.

"It's okay Ast we forgive you for all the wrong things you might have done for them we all know you didn't mean to" Jack said with a soft sweet look in his eyes as he looked at his sister.

"We also have been fighting you guys for a while now and Astrid and I have finally decided that we want to escape. But we can only do so if we are able to remove the chip-wait go back!" Hiccup cut Heather off. "Fighting us?" Hiccup asked questioningly and so did the others raised their eyebrows. "We aren't here together just like that you know." Heather said sarcastically and sighed she was going to open her mouth to continue but stopped when her eyes met Fishlegs. She felt a lump forming in her throat and she couldn't speak. His eyes showed a bit of betrayal and she knew him better than anything or anyone. "We are here on a mission" Astrid then said putting a hand on Heather's shoulder. Heater looked at her for a split second before looking back at Fishlegs. But that split second glance had so much of support that Heather's legs no more felt like jelly.

"What mission?" Fishlegs asked curiously never breaking eye contact with Heather.

"To take down 'The gang' of thieves for good but clearly we don't need to do that. You guys are good and..and we didn't know what to do so we gave it time. We were confused...and even o found this mission a little too suspicious so I stayed and let y'all live to find out what was really wrong." Astrid admitted and Jack corked a brow asked "I don't remembered fighting you..."

"You wont. I had black hair with bue streaks in it and always wore pink lenses" Hiccups eyes widend. How could he forget  that  "and Heather had blond hair with green streaks and she also wore pink contacts. We both mainly wore pink contact lenses. But at the place where we work I was mainly know as Hofferson or H and Heathers nickname was little H so being the best to we were paire up on most missions and were called the- Double H" Fishlegs gasped cutting  Astrid of by completing the sentence for her. He then frowned and glared at the floor. He got up and walked out of the room.

"Fishlegs!" Heather yelped and followed after him. Astrid looked down at her feet. "If you were trying to kill us you would have done it when Heather first came"Hiccup said and the looked up at Astrid "Why didn't you?"

"It's the first time I questioned my job" Astrid admitted with a sigh.  "You all probably hate me now" she said with a deafeted tone "Ofcourse not!" Jack said and sprang up and hugged her. "It wasn't your fault" he whispered quietly but audible for the others in the room to hear it and they nodded in agreement. "And nor was it Heather's" he said taking her hand and everyone looked at the door which was left open after Heather ran out.

Heather ran out with tears streaming down her face. She spotted Fishlegs and stopped a few feet away from him.  "Fishlegs..." Heather said her voice cracking. He didn't respond he did not move. Heather sighed. "Was I just a part of your mission or do we matter?" Fishlegs suddenly turned around and asked. His hand going forward and backward pointing to him the to Heather gesturing to them. "Wha-what?" Heather asked shocked that he even thought that way.  Fishlegs sighed and turned around. "Was I just part of you mission?" He asked his eyes teary and his voice soft. "Ofcourse not! I didn't want to be part of the mission myself for a long long time" Heather said syresdond on the long's and sobbed "I hate everything about it myself. I always knew there was more to this world than what we were taught at the head quarters and you confirmed that for me. You were the one thing that showed me that careing for someone was possible." She said and looked at Fishlegs who was now facing her pleadingly but he looked away. She took in a breathe slowly. "Fishlegs you make me happy..so happy and I love you. You will- WE will never be just another mission" she said tears falling down her face again. Fishlegs too had tears falling down his face but he still refused to look at her. She burried her face into her hands and let out uncontrollable sobbs. She couldn't believe she lost Fishlegs. She wouldn't believe that she lost the Fishlegs that still loved her. But she didn't want to force him to believe her and this was her first time feeling this deeply about someone. But her sobbs momentarily stopped when she was captured by to strong but soft arms "I'm glade that we were never a mission and I love your too Heather" Fishlegs said planting a kiss ontop of Heather's head. She cried again, but this time tears of joy. And Fishlegs held on tight to her. But not so tight that he might hurt her. The couple stood there enjoying each other's embrace.

While inside the room Astrid too stood in her family's embrace. And also her best friends. She had never felt more loved before and now she felt like she was on a cloud. Her parents had forgiven her and Jack, Hiccup and Elsa told her that they'll help her and Heather escape. Today both girls were on clouds. Clouds of love. Of family and of happiness and of hope.

"Snot NOOO!" Merida exclaimed as a man in a black hood pulled out his sword from Snoutlout's back. His eyes widened and his lifeless body fell to the ground. Merida ran to him tears streaming down her face. She held his head in her hands and cried. She glared at the man who killed Snoutlout. "How dare you!" She yelled and the man just bowed not moving or running away with no fear for his life. "I'm sorry princess but it was your father's command" he said still in a bowed down position. And Merida let out a painfull yell. And continued to cry over her dead fiànce's body. All her hope dead.
