Found Him

The next morning Astrid's glares at Jack were not unnoticed. The only reason she didn't kill him was because Hiccup had sat her down and explained to her the importance of Jack in the mission.

Otherwise he was a dead man.

Breakfast went on quickly without Fishlegs. And Heather who came took hers and Fishlegs breakfast and left.

Pitch black wasn't an easy man to find. And knowing he's close, it frightened everybody. Because a if a man who doesn't want to be found is found, he'll do anything to stay that way.

"But why do you keep forcing it" Elsa who was lying down on the bed with her head hanging down from one said asked the pacing Jack.

"Because it's taking them too long" Jack said.

"Don't you get how awkward your making it for the two of them?" Elsa asked with a raised eyebrows and Jack stared at her the way a new born baby stares at a lollipop for the first time.

"Jack you're her brother and Hiccups bestfriend. Even though Hiccup and Astrid were and are best friends again don't you see how weird it is now." Jack narrowed his eyes I'm confusion "Astrid is stilll Hiccup's bestfriend's younger sister"

"So?"

"That means she's off-limits! People try to avoid dating their bestfriend's younger sister" Elsa groaned.

"Wha- why?" Jack asked.

"I'm not explaining this too you"Elsa groaned and got up and walked out.

"But Elsa!" Jack called out after her and then ran after his girlfriend.

...

"I could kill him!"

"I know"

"His body could never be found"

"I know"

"Are you even listening?"

"I know"

Just then a pillow flew straight at Hiccup's head. "Wha-!" Hiccup looked at Astrid who had a snug face on "why would you!"

"I know" she said with a smirk and Hiccup groaned "you've been fuming since last night. Give me a break okay!" Hiccup said defensively.

"Sheesh your mean" Astrid said with a pout and folded her legs and sat on her bed sulking.

Hiccup ignored her and kept doing whatever he was doing on his phone. But he kept glancing at her and immediately guilt kicked in.

"Gaaah fine!" He groaned placing his phone down "you can kill Jack" Hiccup said walking to her bed and sitting down on it. Immediately Astrid face brightened. "I'll give you a minute"

"Three"

"Two. Take it or leave it"

"Deal. Two minutes" Astrid smiled brightly and ran to the door and out.
Hiccup immediately ran after her. She had already found him.

"Jack you mother f-"

"Ahhhhh" a petrified Jack who had been tackled yelled. "You suck you know that!" Astrid said pinching his ear.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" He whined.

"Why!" A pained Jack asked.

"You're so nosy!" Astrid yelled punching his arm.

"Is this about me creating different ships for you in my mind?"

"Arrrrrrrg!" Astrid yelled punching him continuously.

"So annoying leave my love life alone! Okay! I don't want to fall in love cause it sucks kay!" Astrid yelled and that's when Jack flipped them over and was now on top of Astrid.

"Why?"

Astrid looked away "Because I don't believe it's in my destiny"

"Why would you say that" Jack said helping Astrid up.

"Destiny? What?" Jack asked confused.

"Look I thought I was in love turns out it wasn't real. I never rlly got to experience much of parental love since I was taken away because of my stupidity" Astrid sighed. "My life has twists and turns that are not fair to me and I'm just saying of I let myself fall in love again then I'll just end up getting hurt again."

This was something Astrid has always found hard to talk about. But it was just different with Jack. She could hate his guts, ego and just him but there was a different comfort in talking to your sibling than talking to anyone else.

"You know I'll kill that guy who let you believe that" Jack said sincerely placing a hand on Astrids shoulder.

"You are an amazing person Asty" Astrid glared at Jack "Don't let anyone ever let you doubt otherwise. You are the most brave and fierce person I know. You don't wait for love nor do you repel from it. It just come to you, got it. To everyone. It just depends on wether you accept it or not." Astrid hugged Jack. "Thankyou" she whispered and squeezed him tighter.

"Now where is that bastard who let come attack me?" Jack said and turned around to see Hiccup standing there with wide eyes and got ready to chase after him. But Hiccup ran before him and past him putting him off track for a moment before chasing after him soon after.

"She pleaded!" Could be heard from the end of the hall and Astrid and Elsa began to laugh.

"I'm your bestfriend!" Jack could be heard yelling.

"She was my bestfriend first-omph" was heard from Hiccup before Jack caught upto him.

The girls found this entire situation really funny and couldn't stop laughing.

Hiccup and Jack then walked back. Hiccup sulking and rubbing his arm in pain and Jack smiling smugly and triumphantly.

"This is your fault" Hiccup hissed at Astrid who just smiled innocently and in mere seconds Hiccup rolled his eyes at her and smiled.

Jack and Elsa exchanged looks and Jack gave Elsa the I told you soo look.
Jack shrugged with a small smile.

"He found him!" Heather said barging out of the room to everyones surprise.

"What?" Hiccup asked shocked.

"He found pitch black" Heather said slowly in a soft whisper.

"What are we waiting for" Jack said grabbing Elsa's hand and dragging her into the room pushing past Heather. Hiccup and Astrid started at him for a second before rushing behind him.

"Fishlegs what do you know" Jack questioned the obviously tired Fishlegs.

"He's going to be here at the Great Hall tomorrow at five" Fishlegs said tiredly.

"Why?" Hiccup then asked.

"I don't really know I just managed to get this one message he sent out to someone" Fishlegs yawned. "His electronics have a very strong fire wall. It was almost impossible to get a hold of this message"

"You did good Fish. But I think it's time you took some rest" Hiccup said and Fishlegs yawned and sleepily nodded.
